We will be a the Radisson meet. I am not sure about the deck 10 sail away party yet. Since this will be our first DC, I am sure the kids will want to be where the action is and that sounds like deck 9.

I have never printed out t-shirt prints from my computer. Is it going to be difficult??

We are not waiting on the Radisson shuttle. We are driving to the port. I want to be in control of when I leave. I want to arrive as early as possible :Pinkbounc !!

Colleen........what website did you check for your rebate? I would like to see when ours will be sent! Get my hands on it before DH!! :) Put it towards my spending money for the cruise!

Hope

SueEllen and hopelea - If you read my earlier post you'll see that Deck 9 by the stage is my tradition for the Sail-Away also! :teeth: That's where the action is, not to mention the DANCING DISNEY CHARACTERS! Looks like we may at least have a mini-meet of sorts there even without trying. :p

We are back from the dentist. Sara had her second baby tooth pulled. He had to numb her a little. She was a trooper. She did much better than I did. I didn't go back with her because I knew I wouldn't do well.

taswira......I guess we will have a mini meet at the front of the stage. The girls ( & I ) want to be where the action is.

Hope

Hope--- Go to www.irs.gov and then click the link for Where's my advance child tax credit? I can't remember exactly, but there is info you need to put in to get the date yours will be mailed. I think social security number and not sure what else, if anything.

Colleen

Thanks Colleen............mine will be mailed tomorrow!!!!

Hope

Hope,

The child tax rebate is based on the last two numbers of the social security number that appears first on your income tax form...with my husband's number, we are the last bunch to be mailed out.

Funny about dentists...Sam and Sarah are off for their 6 month check up!! Glad its everyone else and not me...I tend to grab onto the chair in the dentists office holding on for dear life and then my dentist reminds me that he hasn't even started to do any work yet!!

TULIROSE AND TULIRICH....SAFE TRIP TO OMAHA AND ENJOY THE WEDDING!!!

Okay folks,,,,,,,

Got Tulis' cross stitch off to her,but am waiting to hear from the rest of you who were interested.....Anything special you're looking for ??

Come & get it.....LOL:jester:

Bette ... I do counted cross-stitch too. Angels, Animals, DISNEY, sea stuff....if you have any to toss my way, you can give it to MaryJo when you meet her.

Mike & Kathy ... please tell me you weren't affected by that storm that I say on TV. Looks like it took out the marina!

Fiona ... you son isn't getting sent to do some of the wild fires .. as I saw on TV, is he? They said they were activating some of the Reserve Troops from Canada.

Eric & Jeff ... Not to leave you guys out ... I also saw where you were having a record breaking heat wave. Stay cool!

Hope (Any anyone else worried about the iron-ons) You can pick up the paper at any WalMart, KMart or Office supply store. The direction are right on the package. Basically it will tell you how to do a mirror image and the paper is just like regular paper. HINT just let the sheet of iron-on dry for a day before you try to do the iron on so the ink is set and not smeared. Really very easy.

Cathy,

Have just the thing for you...I wll load Mary-Jos' pockets....

Bette :p

Bette -- I'll do anything that's reasonably simply in terms of cross stitch since I'm still learning. I haven't tried anything really big yet so if you have some small patterns that would be great. I started with Christmas ornaments but am now moving into slightly bigger things. I do have some Disney designs but really anything in terms of design will do. I need some help making my backs look better but the fronts seem to turn out ok.

@Goofynut -- nope my son is still doing his first training so he won't be called up to help with the firefighting. He just finished his first training course and is now taking the second one (soldier qualifications -- he learned about machine guns so far). After he finishes this course he's doing some sort of training exercise with his regiment. I believe that he might take some courses over the winter on weekends and I think next summer he'll be taking courses for his speciality which will be vehicle technician. He could be called up for some duties but not until he's finished these first 2 training courses.

Today has been a long day at work. Have some big files I'm working on and they just seem to never end. Finally gave them to my secretary to organize (which she's very, very good at). Hopefully they will be finished by the end of the week.

Can't wait for the cruise.

Fiona

Eric,
Even in Minnesota we are hearing about the extreme temps in Germany. Last night the network news showed pictures of the extreme drought and how low the water levels have become. Showed wreckage from WWII in river or lakes that are showing up. How are the people coping over there? I hope much more civilized then what seems to happen here when we have extended periods of heat. People get so short tempered and much more crime starts to happen. Keep COOL!!

We get around quite well. Crime isn't a big isssue over here, anyway. So there isn't much the heat could make worse, Thank God.
The main problem is finding sleep in the night - And sticking to our training routine ;) In spite of the high temps Anja & I still go to the gym. The more you sweat, the better the work-out:p We may be crazy, but at least we are the fittest lunatics in town:crazy:
Jeff, Gaby, Anja and I spent the evening in a nice airconditioned cinema and watched Terminator 3 - Great movie!!!! And a good way to stay cool. On the way back at 1030pm my car still showed an outside temperature of 86ºF, which meant: Top down, a/c on and go ;)
Chris, Amy, Shari - Thanks a lot for the offer of providing webspace. I may have to fall back on it, but let's first see how the group-picture work out - The means the Minnesota-people, too: Make a pic during the meet and send it. No size restrictions apply!!

OK,
gotta catch some Zs

@GoofyNut: I will start right now trying to track down my iron. I'm pretty sure it is in the cabinet next to the washing machine. Anyway, I will find it and dust it off, and brace myself. :jester: LOL
We got 4 more for Brunch, that's 44!
Hopelea, took my kids to the dentist yesterday too. DD did fine, DS not fine.:( He did ok for the cleaning, but he also needed two cavities filled. He was not a happy camper.
On a happier note, I brought DS to meet his new kindergarten teacher today. He starts tomorrow! I can't believe it!:(
Rellingtwin, Thanks for the update. Very handy to have.
Got to run and work on the Brunch list. Oh, and I might try to get some things together for the kids' first day back to school.:p
Later, Ave'

Cathy,

Maybe, you could send the logos for the t-shirts in mirror image so people won't have any problems. It will be a matter of printing them out on the special transfer paper and then ironing it onto the t-shirts.

Today, I bought white t-shirts a Target for the Union of Friends shirt. I already had the yellow ones. This is going to be so much fun.

Are we suppose to wear the Reunion of Friends on sail day?

Tina :)

Nancy (BoardWalk4Me) Taking a cab is always an option if you can't get an early shuttle time. We will have our car so, DH will drop off me and the kids and then drive the car back to the Radisson, then hope on the shuttle (1 person, no luggage) is usually pretty fast. In the mean time TwinAve and I will be holding our place, first in line hopefully! The kids got such a kick out of being 1st in line last year!Even though the Catagory 1-3 get to board first.

Re: the sail-a-way party....the area we will be meeting overlooks deck 9, so we are still "AT THE PARTY" just a little easier to talk!LOL!It seems we were up there a good 30 min before the deck party started, and of course at least 30 min after it was over.

Tina...ware the CRUISETOBERFEST II shirts(Sat.) the day you board the ship!

I had a great day today! I finally got an OK to take a few days off, so I can visit my best friend! Get the oysters ready AVE!!!
I also got a nice raise on my paycheck!YIPEE!

Sooo...White shirts???That works for me. I got the kids the yellow ones last weekend, but was not sure of the other color, so I figured I'd wait until I knew for sure.

Cathy, I like Tina's idea of sending the logos already mirrored.

Piglet33, Alikat99,

Ellen and I will be at the MNSSHP on Friday the 10th also. We would love to have a mini-meet there at the Halloween Party, but we are arriving on a later flight. So depending upon its actual arrival time we might not get there right at the start of the Party. I am probably taking a big gamble on the airlines, but we really want to go to MNSSHP. We have never gone to any of those park parties or e-tickets before.

Maybe if we set up someplace to meet at say 8 PM we'll have a good chance to being there. Or if you are okay with it and have cell phones we could exchange cell phone numbers.

We are also still hoping Eric and Anja will join us at the party.
