Low and behold, I was successful (on my 1st attempt no less) in obtaining what appears to be heralded as the most coverted of all ADR's at WDW.

Now that my 8:10 res is in place for Thursday, 12/6/07, any suggestions as to when I should get to the park let alone how early to the castle? Also, what if anything would we need to say to a parking attendant since the park wouldn't be open at that time?

You need to be at the gates themselves no later than 7:45. You'll go to the special entrance labeled "Breakfast" and they will verify your name/confirmation number and allow you into that special entrance in order to proceed directly to CRT. If you can't find it just make sure you flag down a turnstiles CM.

I've been doing my research and homework for a couple of months now and was not about to let the opportunity get passed up. I was asked to do this by the parents of 4 kids who wouldn't have been able to managed them long enough to do it themselves.

Very much looking forward to this.

Every time I had an 8:05a ADR at both the Castle and CP, they wouldn't let me through the gate till exactly 8:00a.

I got to the bus stop at 7:00a and there was a special early ADR bus.

We got to MK by around 7:30a - 7:40a. My girls were complaining about how bored they were! But I'd rather be earlier rather than late.

I may be mistaken, but I believe they will let you in at 8am, no earlier.

Whatever time it is, enjoy yourself walking down main street and get some good pictures in front of the castle with no people around - so long as it's not an EMH day.

Actually, I just checked - that IS a morning EMH day so you'll be allowed into the park at 8am with everyone else. So you should get there a little earlier so you're one of the 1st people in so you can get to your adr.

I also have a question about entering the park early. We are staying at Wilderness Lodge does anyone know if the boat that goes to MK is running that early and does it let you out near the front gate or is there a different entrance. We have ressies at CRT for 8:30am on Dec.4th
