CRT worth it without Meet & Greets?

We have breakfast reserved at CRT. We’ve been before but to me the main draw was the princess’s walking around. Do you think it’s worth it for us to keep? We haven’t been since prior to 2020 when everything changed. We are a family of 5 so it’s not a cheap breakfast, haha. Or any possible rumors of it returning to the way it was before?!

What are your thoughts?!

My kids still loved it. Eating in the castle was amazing to them. They'd never been when the characters were walking around though.

Personally, I don't think so. However, it depends on how much your kiddos are into princesses. It's very expensive for what it is IMO. You can also meet the princesses in the Princess Fairytale Hall. I think they have Cinderella and a visiting princess and Tiana and a visiting princess right now.

Personally, I thought it was way better with the princesses. It wasn’t really worth it to me without them. Like it’s cool being in the castle and all but it wasn’t my daughter’s favorite meal. She’s 5 though and all of her favorites were the character meals.

No way! Food is not delicious. If youre going to do it, do breakfast. You cant go too wrong with breakfast food (but somehow they still manage to serve runny scrambled eggs .

Book dinner instead. It was the best meal of our trip and they have the 50th anniversary flight. There was no photopass photographer but a kind CM took our camera and a photo with Cinderella in the lobby. The interaction here put our 2.5 year old in a good mood for the rest of the meal. Our reservation was at 9:25 pm (MK hours were added 2 weeks prior and ADRs released a week and half prior to our trip so we changed BOG to CRT) so there was no appearance by Cinderella (no waving from afar) and no wishing ceremony. It did take 2 hours so we had our desserts to go and cancelled the lost slipper dessert (the portion sizes were bigger vs past years).

Our son has milk/egg/cashew/kiwi/sesame allergies and the chefs (faxed a special diets form a week ahead) customized his meal so he received spaghetti with grilled chicken and marinara (he has left hungry in the past so we stopped booking CRT in favor of BOG for the past few years). They also had ripple milk (his favorite brand). Erin McKenna said they needed a week or so notice to add allergy friendly treats for CRT (we ordered a cake for delivery to our resort).
