Hi, all. I was hoping that someone on here would have some insight into a question I have re Cinderella's Royal Table. It says on the websites that children under 3 eat free. How does that work with something like CRT that is a plated meal? If I take my 2 year old, will she get a meal, or would I have to pay for her like a 3 year old. And if I just let her eat off of my plate (if she does not get a meal) would she still get the presents/gifts that are given out at these events? I know she would be really disappointed if I somehow screwed it up such that other kids were receiving presents and she was not.

Thanks!

Children under 3 either eat off of the Adult's plate, or you're free to order (and pay) for a child's meal. CRT doesn't hand out presents/gifts. A set of pictures is included with the meal, which you will get for dining there. Is that what you're referring to?

Actually, I disagree. Both times we've been (dinner a year and a half ago and lunch last February) my DD was given a plate of buttered noodles and a wand, just like her sister, we have 4 of them now. This year my older DD also wanted the buttered noodles that her little sister got so they both got it! Little DD was also given a free sundae after dinner! They were quite generous with my under 3 year old. I have loved CRT both times we've been.

We were there for breakfast with our 20 month old on 10/2. He was given french toast sticks and ate off of my plate and we got extras of sausage and croissants because he liked that. He also got the plastic sword and star which we brought home.

OP here -- Thanks for the replies. Re "gifts" I was referring to the wands they hand out. (As you may be able to tell, I have never been to CRT).

When making reservations then, I'm assuming that I just indicate that I have a 2 year old with me? I'm a little bit nervous about this trip because my DD just turned 2 in September (we are going in February) but she is already the size of a 4 year old. (I'm 6' 1" and DH is 6' 7" so it is not suprising.) I'm hoping I don't get too many dirty looks from people thinking I'm trying to cheat the system, however.

Yep, just let them know the 2 year old will be there. They'll ask anyway and how old.
I also have a large 2 year old, she turned 2 in May but is wearing a lot of her sister's size 3-4 clothes and even some of her 5 shirts. I've never been hassled but I always keep a copy of her birth certificate in my bag, it doesn't take up any room and it makes me feel better to have it! I hear they don't both people about the size of their children, but at the same time I've heard of a couple of incidences where CMs took it upon themselves to ask the child how old they are.

We are also going in February! Which week are you going? We go at the same time every year, the last week! Have a great time! You'll love CRT!

I really don't think you will at all. My son is 10 and he is 5'7" and weighs 180 pounds. The last time he went he was 9 and we never got questioned or looked at funny.

We are going Feb. 3 - 10. We usually go the beginning of March, but I am currently on maternity leave and have to go back to work Feb. 15, so we are squeezing in the trip before then. I am hoping that the weather isn't too bad.

It is a "tradition" in my family to take the new baby when she is 6 months olds right before my maternity leave ends. We did it with our first DD when she was 6 months and are now doing it with our second DD (who is only 2 months now.)

LOL -- If they a CM does ask my eldest DD how old she is she will respond either "1" or "not 2." For some reason, she doesn't like to say that she is 2 now!

We have the opposite a tiny now teenager sometime we got strage looks getting adult meals for him on the dining plan, oh and a lot of servers thought his brother was a girl lol.
