CRT with 2 resv numbers?

How would I go about booking CRT online with 2 different room reservations? It is a group of 4 on DxDP - if I book online - and put in my room reservation number with 4 guests it is going to make me pay for the other 2 on my credit card. But if I put in two reservations - one for each room reservation we won't be sitting together.

Personally I wouldn't do it online, I would call and do it.

I thought it you did it online, you had to pay anyway - and they refunded you at the meal and switched it to your DP. I agree with PP - call that one in!

No, if you are doing CRT with the dining plan, they do require that you put in your credit card number online, but they don't charge you. Be sure when you check out that the total shown is 0.

OP - I'd go ahead and book for 4 online, put in your number, but be sure the total is 0. They will then have to pay the day you dine there.

The only down side is that you are guaranteeing their arrival. If something happens, be sure to cancel for them.

I have CRT booked on our trip with DDP and did it online with a guarantee. I actually plan on paying OOP when we get there and using my dining credits elsewhere.

I need to add...... to do this you MUST enter your resort confirmation number and have it linked to your ADR. This is the only way the system knows you do in fact have the dining plan.

We booked ADR's for 6 people online. 4 of us were on DP and 2 were not. We linked our reservation to our room. We had to put in CC details but no charge has been made to the card to hold this ressie. Despite only 4 of us having the DP the system allowed us to make this ADR. We will pay for the other 2 members of our party when we arrive. Hope this helps.
