CRT walkin

Anyone ever have success walking in? Hoping for cancellation during our dates of travel, but it hasn't happened yet.

I have a friend who walked in last Sunday for a party of 5 at breakfast.

If you get there right when they open for lunch and ask, there is a chance. I've seen people walk up and get in at that point before. I've also been there when one group has walked up and gotten in and then a couple of minutes later a 2nd group walked up and was told nothing was available the rest of the day. You never know. If they tell you no, the minute it opens, I would probably wait 30 minutes or 45 minutes and ask again, just in case something were to happen to open up. I wouldn't get my hopes up though- it will take a bit of luck!

Well, just glad to know it's not total urban legend. Sounds like worth a shot. Worst they can say is no and we're no worse off. Think there's a better shot to walk in akershus?

I've never seen Akershus take a walk-in in all of our trips and I have seen a ton of people come up and ask. I've seen CRT take walk-ins multiple times. We much prefer CRT too. DD (8) has been going every year since she was 2. CRT has always been her favorite. She has always requested both, and we have done both until this year. This year, she actually said she did not want to go to Akershus, but just wanted to stick to CRT.
