Was given a number by Disney Dining for CRT Special Events (407-824-4477). I left a voice mail message on Wednesday and this morning - the recording gives an email address and I've emailed that address twice - No response yet!

My son is getting married 12/15 and we have ressies for CRT for 7:15 that evening. I would like to have something special arranged but don't even know what's available (table decorations? Special recognition by Fairy Godmother?)

Does anyone have an alternate contact for this service and does anyone know what services might be available?

Thanks so much!!

Yeah, they never responded to us either, despite numerous attempts. We were attempting to celebrate our 10th anniversary at dinner there. In the end, DH ordered a slipper dessert through the cakes hotline ... and it still wasn't there. 100% bad service from CRT's entire staff, including the manager on duty when we were there, during our September 2008 trip.

Don't give up!! There really has to be a way. Maybe call the DINE hotline and ask a CM for advice, and if they aren't helpful - call back and try again with another CM who might know.

When we went the couple at the table next to us had a special event planned, so it seemed. He proposed to her and it seemed like staff was in on it. He even had a glass slipper ring box! I have heard other great stories too from CRT so I would keep trying. Or maybe if your there early in your trip you can sneak over to CRT and talk to someone in person? Or even a concierge.

Found LOTS of great info on that thread but same phone number as I've been calling. Does anyone have a pix of the slipper dessert? Sounds Intriguing!!

Yes, I have a pic of one we got in 2007. Let me dig it up and remember how to post a pic. Be aware that, as I said, that the cake hotline is the proper place to order it ... DH told me that is what they eventually emailed to him (so, I was wrong that they totally ignored us! They were just rude and unhelpful.).

I get the distinct feeling they are only interested in big ticket types of celebrations. So, if you are interested in spending some money to make magic happen, you should say that in your message and stress that your son will be getting married that day. Crass, I know, but it's the truth.

Much of the stuff in that other thread isn't true anymore, I'm afraid. Champagne flutes are no longer free in 2008 ... unless you've had a very magic moment, etc.

Good luck!

Off to search for the pic.

Let's try this ...
