CRT ressie for 4 - what if only 3 show up?

Have dining plan, so need to do the credit card guarantee. Nothing available for a table for 3 - but there is one for 4 that I hope is still there to snag in the morning.
What if I book the table for 4 - and only 3 show up? Will they charge that $10 fee - or will they charge the price of an entire dinner for a fourth person?

They will charge the entire price for the 4th person.

You can cancel up to 48hrs in advance to avoid the fees. I would do that if you book a table for 4, but will only seat 3. I don't think they'll turn you away at that point.

We asked this question to the CM also (for Norway storybook). We were told that if someone didn't show up they would charge the cc for the noshow. IF we called and changed the ADR from 4 to 3, we would have to cancel the original one and then try to get a new one (which we know would not happen). So we booked our ressie without the questionable person (a 15 yo teen/boy). The only way we could've gotten around this would be for me to book a ressie for 4 w/cc and my daughter to book a ressie for 3 w/cc in her name and one of us cancel 48 hrs prior when we know who is coming. It got too complicated at that point, so we opted to not take our teenager with us.
