CRT reservation question

I was trying to make our CRT ADR and they're saying I need to pay in FULL today? I really don't want that amount charged to my credit card 6 months ahead of time especially since we're using the Dining plan. Can anyone fill me in on how this works? Thanks

When i have booked this w/o the dining plan, I had to pay in full that day. When I booked w/the dining plan, I didn't have to pay anything. Did they know you are using the dining plan?

When I book I told them I was on the DxDDP and the CM said they need my Credit Card number but would not be charge unless my family was a no show.
Tell them you are on the DDP and using credits, you would still need to leave a cc but they should not charge you for the amt.

If you're doing the reservation by phone, give them your package confirmation # and they'll see that you have the dining plan. They'll take your credit card number in case you're a no show, but it won't charge your credit card.
If you're doing it online, you'll need to log in, enter your resort confirmation # (which will tie into your dining plan). Again, it'll take your credit card # in case you're a no show.

We booked 2 reservations at CRT online and I had to enter our CC# , but our CC was never charged. If you DO get charged for some reason, when you get to the restaurant, they will issue a credit for you since you're on the dining plan.

Are you going in Jan? (ie.... don't have your dining plan attached to your room yet due to waiting for 2011 dining rates to be released?)

That is our issue... we do deluxe dining and don't have to pay for CRT up front (just cc to have on file for no shows). HOWEVER, if you don't have your dining plan booked yet due to this rate release time frame I've been told that you do have to pay in full to book now or wait to book until you have your dining plan in place after rates come out (and who in their right mind waits for CRT?).
