WE are planning for August 2016(so ADR date is coming up). We are trying to coordinate with friends.

Is the cancellation policy the same (ie. 24 hours, refundable?) or longer?
I know we prepay, but what happens if part of the party does not show up? Do we get money back for their meals?

How's the online reservation system working when a date opens up? Or is it something I must call for?

The scenario is that we would do 6 people but my friend's parents might join which would be 8. Should I book the 8 at 6 months (if I can?) Then if they don't come, it will be fine. Or, do I book for 6, and if parents want to come then try for that later (which I know will be useless)

1. Same cancellation policy as other restaurants: they'll give you a refund if you give them a day's notice. The refund could take up to a week to receive, however.

2. If part of your party is no-show, what was paid for their meals stays with Disney. (That's why they insist on prepayment.)

3. You can reserve online- immediate payment will be required to make a reservation.

4. I recommend booking for 6, and suggesting the friend's parents have a lovely meal for 2 at that time somewhere else- since they're a couple, this should actually be fine for them. There are lots of other nice places to eat in MK. You've got to commit early to snag CRT.

You could also book for 6 then make an additional booking for 2. If they are not going to go then cancel and there's no problem. If they are going to go call the restaurant with as much notice as possible and request the tables be moved together. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.

CRT is actually a 48-hour cancellation, not 24.
This is true of all dining that requires a credit card guarantee, like Hoop-de-Doo and etc.

Is it a full 48 hours, or is it "two days", in the same way that "regular" places aren't actually a full 24 hours?
