CRT Question

I booked CRT for my birthday and noticed that UG says to avoid MK on that day (Friday the 19th). My question, should I keep the CRT ressie and then maybe go to Epcot, or should I hope the have another opening on less crowded MK day? Thanks in advance!!

do you have the park hopper option?

We've done CRT lunch on busy days. The park started to get really busy a little prior to our ADR. I was glad that I had a TS ADR because the MK CS locations can get really crowded. Since we go in June we would usually do an afternoon break and head to a different park int he afternoon.

Breakfast, to me is easier since you can leave whenever you fell crowded and dinner is usually a little easier to get another time for.

Frankly, I don't mind park hopping when the parks are open 12 - 15 hours a day.

Are you getting the park hopper option and what time is your CRT ADR? If it is early, I'd stay at MK until you couldn't stand it and then head to Epcot. With the touring guides, you can probably hit some attractions, again, depending on times.

I would keep the CRT ADR in any case since it is a difficult one to get.

I do have the park hopper and I got an 8:05am seating for CRT. Things will be a little easier to plan once we get June hours!! lol If I go by UG's crowd calendar, I was planning on doing MK the Wed before and the Epcot the day after. So doing a split day and hitting my favs. I have the DDP, but am probably doing OOP for CRT, then using my TS for Tony's I think, since I want to see Wishes for my birthday.

the ADR then. Even if it's an EMH day it won't be bad at 8:00 in the morning and you can leave when you want.

I'd definitely keep it if you want to go there! I actually will be having lunch there that same day!

I tried calling for days and days to get a different time for that day, and it was booked SOLID every time I called.

Here's to hoping the day won't be that bad, crowd-wise. We aren't hopping!

It's your BIRTHDAY! Go where you want to go! The books are just a guide, you have park hoppers if it gets crazy go to another park and enjoy your day. Heck you can go to all four if you want.

Thanks for the tips guys! So, I'll keep the CRT. Now to cross my fingers for Le Cellier for my bday dinner. Or Coral Reef. Or San Angel Inn. lol Gotta be prepared!!

At this point I'd take the UG recommended days with a grain of salt. As of yesterday my recommended days had changed around completely at least 4 times. The days will probably change again when the June Park Calender is release and possibly again when you get closer to your arrival, especially if any hard ticket or other special events are listed or if they change the current two night schedule for Fantasmic back to every night again, etc.
