If we pay the adult price for dinner at CRT, can DS11 order a child's meal? I don't think he'll care for the adult choices...

This wasn't at CRT, but at PSB Akershus in 2005, DH didn't want any of the adult meals and he was given a double size portion of a kids meal.

When our meals came I was jealous! He had plain corn, potatoes and chicken. I had a sour soppy chicken salad.

I would guess they would have no problem downgrading him. I am sure my just turned 10yo will choose some kids meals yet too.

It wont be a problem at all for your DS 11 to order from the kids menu even though you paid for an adult meal.

My DD 12 had a "plain" salad.... lettuce and ranch dressing, the prime rib and the crown sundae from the kids menu.

We have eaten alot of places that the "adult" meals have been modified for my kids. All you have to do is ask.

At Hoop De Doo... one 16 year old ordered a hot dog and fries,

or we have requested chicken "plain" no fancy sauce or at LeCellier DD 12 and DD 16 ordered the filet "plain" with mashed potatoes instead of rissoto.....

So no problem..... just ask.
