Which princess breakfast did you like better?

CRT or Akershush ?

I have a ressie for Akershush but my DH suggested CRT instead...

Do they have the same princesses?

I thought it would be nice for a change to eat in EPCOT in the AM, since we usually eat at crystal palace in MK...

Does it matter? Aside from being in the castle itself?:confused3

We actually like Akershus better!

They have a great breakfast there and to be honest - I always feel rushed at CRT! When my DD was little - I told her it was Snow White's Cottage - so she loved eating at Snow White's and it didn't bother her that we were not in Cinderella's castle -

When she got older and realized it was not Snow White's cottage - she gave me a little grief but laughed about it!

We eat breakfast twice per trip (without fail) at Akershus! So that's our favorite.

We went to the castle once for lunch (January 2009) but haven't tried breakfast there. The lunch was very good but we felt the princess interaction was rushed compared to "Norway". It was nice to eat in the castle but for the money/ dining credits we won't be doing it again except for a really special occasion.

The princesses were similar.

I thought I read somewhere that more princesses may be at CRT now, but it used to just be Cinderella at the front greeting, and her "friends" (fairy Godmother, stepsisters, etc) would visit your table.

I prefer Akersush - guaranteed to see at least 4 princesses, like the food selection better and it's cheaper! We do DDP, so it's one TS credit instead of two... Plus it is WAY easier to book.

Tough question. We like Akershus as they have the family style warm food and buffet cold food with the best ever cinnamon rolls! They share some common princesses - Snow White, Aurora, and CRT has the entrance picture with Cinderella and Akershus has Belle (in yellow dress). We had Mulan and Ariel at Akershus, which I don't think Ariel is allowed at CRT because she still has her flipper at MK. CRT has great breakfast, and how special is it to walk up the stairs and eat inside the castle? One year, we had a window table and were able to look into MK. It was really cool. I don't think you can go wrong with either. For the money, Akershus was the better deal.

I agree that its a tough question. We have done both and to be honest, if someone told me I could only do one next time, I'd have a hard time choosing. I guess CRT was just that little more special because its in the castle. And I did like doing the early breakfast and being one of the first in Fantasyland.

We did both last trip (July 09) and our then 3yo dd loved them both!:cheer2: But, since Akershus is just 1 table service credit, we decided to do it again this trip!:rotfl: It has great character interaction! :cheer2: We are also doing Chef M, Garden Grill, and Crystal Palace!:rotfl:

Akershus all the way. Higher PPM (Princesses Per Meal) ratio (CRT has a 1:1 while Akershus has at least 4:1) and really good food (the cold buffet is my Official Favorite WDW Restaurant Thing) for just one TS credit on DDP or lot less $$ OOP.

Actually CRT and Akershus have 5 each. One taking photopass pics and four doing rotation around the restaurant. They only guarantee four though at both.
