We are toying with the idea of going back to DW at the end of May. This time it will be me, my husband, my BIL, my SIL and 3 kids age 2, 7, and 11. We want to do a princess breakfast for the 2 yr. old. We will have free dining and will probably stay for 5 nights which means we will have 5 table credits.

We will eat at Chef Mickey's, Ohana and 1900 Park Fare (breakfast). Those 3 are really not negotiable. But my other option is

1) Cinderella's Royal Table -- this would take 2 credits and we probably won't pay for any meals OOP. But it is CRT and I hope to schedule the breakfast so that we can get in MK before the park opens. Plus if we don't do this meal during this trip we probably won't do it (because my kids won't care as much about it).

2) Akershus for breakfast and Whispering Canyon Cafe for dinner -- not necessarily on the same day. We would get more meals this way and still have a princess breakfast but would have to travel to WCC instead of just stopping to eat in a park.

Opinions please? Which option would you choose?

I personally would vote for WCC and Akershus. CRT has the cool factor, but Akershus has the princesses, and WCC is really a lot of fun, with good food, too.

We love to go to CRT for the experience of eating in the castle....if you have never done it before, then I say definitely do it at least once. However, we much more prefer the Akershus breakfast over the CRT breakfast. The food at Akershus is so much better than at CRT (especially the cheesy potatoes ), the princess interaction is slightly better at Akershus than at CRT too, they seem to spend more time at the table at Akershus than in the castle. So when we go, and since we are on the DxDP, we always get an ADR for Akershus breakfast and then another ADR for CRT dinner (of course not on the same day). Good luck and have a great trip.

I'm assuming the 2 older children are boys? If so, I think they'd really enjoy the antics at WCC.

I'd go with Akershus and WCC. We've eaten at both. I have a daughter and 3 sons.....All four actually enjoy both places. The guys would probably enjoy getting the skillet, and the bigger kids getting the "bottomless" shakes at WCC.

Also, this way, you're getting 2 meals, instead of just the one.....But if you think this is your one and only chance EVER to eat in the castle........
