Now, I've asked about CRT before, but now I'm wondering: Should we try to do it on a MK EMH morning, or would we be better off scheduling it for a regular morning? Or doesn't it matter? BTW, we're traveling in early February.
I know this is an absurd question, but my husband doesn't call me "Julie McCoy, Cruise Director" for nothing! (For all those BORN in the 80's (or later?!?! ), that would be from a show called "The Love Boat"- my name is not Julie! The rest of you I'm sure got it!:happytv: )
I'm so glad I found a group of people who put up with all these silly questions of mine!:grouphug:

I remember The Love Boat!

As for your question, my DH and I wondered the same thing before we made our ADR for CRT on an EMH morning in December. We decided to make the ressie for late morning. This way, we can take advantage of the rides early and eat in the castle, as it starts to fill with more people. I don't know if this helps you, but this is how we came to our decision.

I would try to do it on a regular morning as early as possible. The reason for using your EMH is to get in early to ride those rides that fill up fast. CRT can take up a big chunk of that time. The other option is to go on the EMH day, but after general park opening so you still get the benefits of EMH - but then you may have hungry grumpy kids on your hands.

We are going on an EMH early morning, but like the above poster, have a LATE breakfast so that we can enjoy the rides from 8-10am and then dine @ the castle as the park gets very crowded :thumbsup2

Otherwise, I'd choose a non-EMH early morning and get a very early seating if you're able to (I had a very hard time getting ANYTHING at my 180+10 day mark!!!) Good luck and have fun! :goodvibes

Like others have said I would do it early on a regular day or late on an EMH day.

We're doing it at 10:30 on the day we're doing the Little Ones EMH. I figure I'll give the kids a little something before we leave the resort so they're not starving.

I agree with the other posters--either make your ADR early for a non EMH morning or eat later in the morning for a late breakfast/early lunch.

In 2003, I made an ADR for CRT at 8:05 on a non EMH morning. It was perfect! We ate in the castle and were done by around 8:50. When the rope dropped at 9:00 a.m., we were waiting by the castle and headed directly for Dumbo. My kids were the first 2 in line for this ride. I have reservations for 8:05 a.m. at CRT again on a non EMH morning in early January! I can't wait! :cool1:

Okay, based on what I've read, I'm going to first try for as late as breakfast as possible on an EMH day and give the kids something small in the hotel to tide them over (I'm hoping breakfast will be more like brunch and hold us until we can get an early dinner). If it's not possible, then I'll try for as early as possible on a Non-EMH day.
Either way, I'm hoping I don't have a hard time getting our ADR! This will be for early Feb, so I'm hoping for the best!:goodvibes
Thanks all!

You probably won't get it at the 180+10 mark but you shouldn't have aproblem at exactly 180 days. I called at at a80 days out and got an ADR for 8:05, I called back over an hour later when I remembered it was an EMH day and had no problem changing to 10:30.
