CRT on Marathon morning?

We have 8:50 reservations for the royal breakfast. Will we have troubles getting there with the marathon going on? Also with Sundays being EE should we just eat and then plan to hop to another park or have Sundays still been an OK day for MK?

I wouldn't try to drive there. We left one year on the morning of the Marathon (from the Contemporary, in fact), and we had to go a really strange way because of the runners. I'm guessing the buses will be running as normal, though, but possibly using alternate routes. You should get a note in your room the evening before explaining that some roads will be closed to traffic.

At that time, you'll catch the very end of the runners at MK. Main Street will be open to the public (spectators) without a park ticket from 6:55am until 8:50am, and the last of the runners should be through MK by then. The monorail will be running all morning to get spectators there. I'd also avoid driving if you can, or drive and get to the TTC early. The run passes the TTC also so there may be some delays.
