CRT- Mid Jan - Peak Rate?

We booked CRT for the second week in Jan and we were charged what appears to be the peak season rate. It is much less if I try to book it for Sept 4th.
This should be past the holiday peak prices. It is right at the start of the Marathon weekend.

Did the price increase for good starting in 2014. I also looked at the booking cost on Dec 19th and it was $1 more for a kid's meal, but not the adult meal than our Jan ADR.

Nope, Thursday January 9th. One of the lowest attendance weeks of the year.

I booked for January 10th breakfast and it was $58.15 per person, I found a thread on here where someone released the prices for each upcoming season and it agreed with what I was charged.

Was there last year that same week and noticed all restaurants charged peak rates about 5 days before and 5 days after Marathon. Then you run into MLK weekend that is 4 or 5 days of peak

And be forewarned, Jan is on it's way to becoming an official peak month in the Disney calendar because it coincides with Brazilian vacation periods.
