CRT Lunch or Dinner?

I'm planning on taking my daughter to WDW next June for her 18th birthday, and I'm already planning!

My big question at the moment is whether we should do Cinderella's Royal Table for lunch or for dinner?

Breakfast has been ruled out; the menu wouldn't appeal to her (she's vegetarian) and the hastle makes it not seem worth it.

Lunch would be good because it'd be a nice break from the heat; she loves getting pictures with characters and has never met Cinderella, Snow White, OR Aurora before. The menu has a pasta dish I'm sure she'd enjoy. However, I'm worried again about the hastle in making the reservations, and also that maybe it'll be too noisy and too full of little girls in their princess dresses for her to really enjoy her first meal as an adult.

Dinner seems to be more quiet, more of a better place for her big birthday meal. However, the menu only has the portabello mushroom dish (she probably wouldn't care much for it); but, we could get her the Cinderella slipper for dessert (if they still have it), which she would just die for. I'm afraid, though, that without the characters, the price wouldn't be worth it, and that she'd be disappointed.

That being said, I'm *considering* that if I do decide on the dinner, maybe another night we could do Cinderella's Gala Feast, so she could still get to meet Cinderella (though I'm sure she'd completely bypass her for Prince Charming!). I don't know if the money spent on both would be worth it though.

(this meal is going to be a surprise, so I can't really get her opinion on the matter!)

If anyone could lend an opinion or two, that'd be appreciated. Thank you!

I'm a 21-year old vegetarian, and I'm opting for dinner. That said, I'm traveling wtih my boyfriend and I'm not sure he'd really get into a character meal. As for the meal choices, I plan to call ahead and let them know my preferences, and at least be able to get the pasta dish from lunch. Sometimes they will even make something special if they have warning! I think it's really about your daughter though. Would she enjoy eating with the princesses (and the accompanying little princesses) or would she enjoy a fancy grown-up event? Personally I'd go for dinner, but that's me. You know your daughter best! but don't let the menu restrict you- I'm pretty sure that you can generally order off the lunch menu even at dinner without any sort of prior arrangement. Have a wonderful time!
