We are going to WDW for honeymoon in August. We are considering having a meal at CRT when we're at MK. Is it worth it? Any other suggestions? Thanks. Verity.  :earsboy:   :earsgirl:

I've eaten dinner and breakfast at CRT. I'm guessing you're talking mainly about dinner or lunch since this is your honeymoon? We LOVED dinner-the food was wonderful, service unbeatable, and the atmosphere- well, nothing can touch eating in the castle. You might want to tell them you're on your honeymoon and ask for a window table. Maybe even time your dinner to watch the fireworks? I think that would be very romantic! I don't think you can go wrong with CRT. They treat you like royalty- even down to calling you by royal names like princess, prince, etc. You will love it!
If your future wife if a princess fan- the breakfast is fantastic too- if you can get a PS!
Good luck on your upcoming marriage and honeymoon!!!

I've dined here for both lunch and dinner and have been very please with both the food & the service.

Make a PS, request a table by the window and tell them it's your honeymoon.

CRT is on our 'must do' list. It seems to have gotten better in recent years.

As far as price, it is always our least expensive meal, as they do not serve alcohol (not that we get bombed at the Magic Kingdom, but we usually have a bottle of wine with dinner).

Have fun...

Yes, it's worth it!

We had lunch at CRT in December, and it was wonderful. The food and the service were both very good. But the main thing was, I was eating in the castle! I could barely eat, I was so busy soaking up the atmosphere!!

We went there last year for dinner on our honeymoon in August. The food is really good and they gave us a great table by the window. We are going back in September and CRT is on our list of restaurants we are definitely going to.

YES!!!! We only have two must-do restaurants at WDW and this is one of them! We always go for dinner.

Does anyone have a link to any pictures from inside the castle/from the meal? I've heard so much about it (and we just got PS - so now I'm REALLY excited!) and I would like to see what it is like -

Thanks!!

We have always done lunch at CRT and had a wonderful experience. We are planning my Birthday Dinner there in October - I can't wait!!

Hope you have a great time on your honeymoon.

Here is one that I found on Deb's page. I'll keep looking for others too.

Here is another pic that I found on the PS Planning Guide website. I can't seem to find one of the food.

YES! Hubby and I (no kids) really enjoy breakfasts there, and Hubby is a MANLY MAn a la John wayne, but loves it.

My husband, not a WDW fan, was pleasantly surprised by the Castle dinner experience.

We were lucky enough to get a table by the window. Our boys loved seeing Merlin's sword in the stone act and Captain Hook running by the window during the show happening outside the castle.

Food was very good which surprised us both.

It was definitely a very lovely dinner for inside a theme park.

A must do for this family of four!

First time we went, DH was looking at me strange when I called to make the PS. I wanted to have dinner at CRT because of my "little princess".

Well let me tell you, my DH was SO impressed with the food there that not only did he comment to the manager about the food but also the head chef. Now every trip back to WDW we HAVE to eat at least one meal at CRT.

I say most certainly do it! Congrats!
