CRT & HOOP-DEE-DOO ADR QUESTION - Changing ADR from 1 date to another date

In about a month, im gonna be making my ADRs for DH and I August trip. Now, I know when booking CRT & Hoop-Dee-Doo, you have to pay for it when you book your ADR. Now, my question is this. IF, DH and I decide to go in December instead, when I call to change my ADRs from August to December in June, will the charges get transfered to the new dates? Basically when I call to change them, would they refund me the money and then charge me again, or just transfer the money from one date in August to one date in December?

What you'll be doing is cancelling the August reservation so what they should do is credit your card as long as you are within the cancellation policy. Booking for December will be an completely new ADR and I'd suspect they'd charge your card again for that ADR.

If you book the dining plan I don't think they charge your card. As long as you cancel the dining plan before the change window closes (46 days ahead of arrival) it shouldn't be a problem. Then if you do go in August they'll have to charge you when you cancel the DP. We loved the dining plan, but it sounds like its not part of your plans.

Be really careful the 46 day and 180 days may not line up exactly to your liking depending if when in Aug or Dec you would arrive. For example if Dec is a Christmas week trip and Aug is begining of the month, your 45 day mark for Aug will come before your 180 opens for Dec. All the more reason why I'd think the credit card will be handled as a credit and new charge.

The date we would arrive in August and the 1st day for ADRs would be Aug 5th. For December we would arrive and the 1st day for ADRs would be Dec 4th. The 45 day mark for August is June 21st. The day we would make our december ADRs would be June 7th. However, for any changes made, it would be the very very beginning of June, like June 1st or maybe even the tail end of May. Just whenever we hear the word rather or not DH is getting deployed next year again. It could even be the beginning of May. No one really knows at this point, but any changes would def. be made by the very beginning of June, like the 1st week. Not just because of ADRs but AAA has me paying off my trip for August on June 12th. So it would def. have to be before June 12th. No we arent on the DDP. From what I know I know I have to cancel any ADR made that charges people when booking within 24 hrs before the ADR. So if I cancel at the beginning of June, its def. way more then 24 hrs.

I was able to veiw the transactions on line in just a day or two. There should not be any problems as long as you cancel at least 24 hours in advance of the first reservation.
