CRT guest change

I have 2 6 person reservations for CRT. We had a family switch in the group. 2 adults and 2 year old not attending and 2 adults and 8 yr old and a 1 yr old attending now. That means one extra child over 3. Will this cause major problems?

You have one additional person I believe you are saying. It all depends on how crowded the restaurant is, really. No way of knowing until you get there, but chances are they will accommodate you. One person (hopefully an adult - LOL - not the extra child) should be prepared to dine elsewhere alone though if it doesn't work out.

They'll just charge for the child when you get there.

As for the extra person, they may or may not get in.

If you are going from six people to seven you will have a problem. The tables are close together and they cannot set an extra place or put a chair where it will block an aisle. If you were going from an odd number of people to an even number that would work as tables are designed for an even number of people.

We have others going as well. We have two reservation (6 on each for total of 12). Does that make a difference in the seating (ie not having room in aisle, etc)

They will not allow a child to sit on your lap instead of having a place of their own. You need to try and change one group to 7 or have a plan of who won't be dining if they will not accomidate you when you arrive.
