I've heard there is not much of a selection for children at lunch, but I know my son would love to be IN the castle (I would too) and since he doesn't give a hoot about princesses and such I thought lunch would work....has anyone had success with this situation?

We ate lunch on our last trip and will again this trip. There are only 3 or 4 things on the menu if memory serves for children...hamburger, chicken..something else. My daughter loved eating there. The food for adults is very good. I had a salmon sandwich that was very good. We did get to meet Cinderella as we left lunch in the lobby, but it is said she isn't always there, but your son could care less and eating in the castle would be cool I would do it for lunch because the prices are lower.

I have two sons, and we had lunch at CRT last visit. I can't remember what they ate, and neither can they, but I know that they ate something (lol), and I know that they were thrilled to be inside the castle! We all had a wonderful time there, and I would highly recommend it. The food may not be memorable, but the experience definitely is!
