Tell me about CRT for dinner??? We are planning on eating there our last night of our trip with our girls - 6 and 7. We did Norway last year and just thought it would be fun to eat in the castle at night to end our trip but I am wondering if it is worth it or not. We have free dining and the credits to use. Any thoughts?

I was only able to book CRT for dinner at 4:20...no breakfast :( My TA said dinner was a better value since we are in the dining plan...any thoughts???

I really enjoyed our time in the Castle last year. We had a party of six myself DH,DD,DS,SILand BF Everyone enjoyed the meal except my SIL who had the tortellini, she barely touched. I had the pork yummy , DH had the prime rib and liked it.I don't remember what the kids had. We enjoyed the skit with the stepmother and mice. BF had a special cake ordered for SIL for college graduation is was great. Atmosphere was great and our server was great too! I think it's a must do at least once and yes it is 2 TS but your in the castle and you do get very nice pictures with Cindy.

I am not a fan of the food at CRT. Last year my entire family thought it was the worse restaurant on our list. However, if you get b-fast or lunch then you do meet a lot of princesses and that was nice for my girls. Dinner does not include the princesses (the mice and the fairy godmother do a short show but don't do meet and greets at the tables or sign autographs). I personally would not waste 2 credits on dinner where the food is not that great and you don't meet the characters UNLESS you are dying to eat in the castle itself. (We thought it looked like a nice, large, dining room).

I think it is worth doing at least once. If you are looking for the best deal for meeting princesses, then Akershus in Norway is a better bargain at only one credit.

That being said, we did dinner last Thanksgiving and I thought the food was good. It is definitely a neat experience.

Cool, thanks, it would be great to dine with the princesses, but i think just eating in the castle will be a treat! We did 1990 park fare 5 yrs ago and by the time cindy and the prince got to us, the meal was over and the girls were tired.... As long as she is there for a photo op before we dine, that's fine! :)

I don't know if you know this but you do not dine with the Princesses for dinner (only breakfast and lunch). At dinner the FG and Perla and Suzie are there to do a show....and I don't think they come around the tables either. However, Cinderella is downstairs taking pics before you go up to dinner....I don't know if this will change your mind about it. We have dinner ressies there for our December trip (eating there before our MVMCP night). We have eaten at CRT for breakfast and enjoyed it, and since we are already going to be eating with Princesses at Akershus, the day before, we thought dinner would be nice because it is in the castle and that is all my DD6 really cares about.
