We are able to get CRT dinner reservations, but for 8:30 on a night when Wishes is at 9:00. I know it is unlikely, but is there any way to see wishes from the dining area (it's OK if not, but I'm curious)? Or, are there any strange effects from being there during that time?

I believe the windows are currently covered, but if you'll be there after the coverings have been removed, then it is possible to see some of the fireworks show from within the dining area.

I was there in December and you can see some of the fireworks through the stained glass windows. The view from Main Street is much better and that is best way to see and enjoy the entire show, but it was fun to see it from a very different perspective.

Here are a few pictures:

Last month when we were there, all the windows were covered up due to refurb. We had a 6:50pm reservation, and by the time we finished dinner, Wishes had started at 8pm. When we walked out the entrance, we were greeted with a unique view of the fireworks, facing towards the carrousel.

It was a partially obstructed view, but we liked it. We had seen Wishes from Main Street the night before, so it was a nice complimentary different view. If you only get one crack at Wishes, would definitely prefer Main Street views from the CRT views (no contest). That being said, if your reservation is only 30 minutes before Wishes, I don't think you'll have enough time to finish your meal/meet the characters to come out and view it.
