Okay, we changed our PS from 1900 Park Fare to CRT for dinner. I know Cinderella doesn't *technically* appear there, but I've heard she shows up once in a while - and I think DD will find it a little more magical eating INSIDE a castle - plus, we get the added benefit of being in the MK at the start of MVMCP.

Sooo - what should we expect for dinner? I saw the prices and a partial menu (I hope it's only partial) - so I have a very general idea of what is to be expected. Any dinner recommendations? Will we be very close to where we need to go for MVMCP after we eat. We made an early PS - 4:15 - so that we'd have a chance to get to where we needed to go. :)

Thanks so much for all your continued help!

The menu is very limited. The menu on wdwig was pretty much it when we were there in May.

Someone posted a couple weeks ago that the Grand Duke is no longer being offered, that was always our favorite. I'm reconsidering our 12/9 PS at 4:00pm before MVMCP. I'll have to checkout the menu at the entrance when we get there on 12/6.

We had dinner at CRT before MNSSHP a few weeks ago.
DH and I each had the prime rib.

Be advised the menu is very limited (lunch and dinner both).

I had the BEST filet mignon of my life at dinner at CRT! It literally melted in my mouth, so tender, and tasted delicious! They don't have a huge selection, but what they do have, is very good. It's so much fun to dine in the castle. princess:

I have some pics from our breakfast and dinner we had there a couple of years ago, click on the "family vacations" link below, then go to the May-2001 link, to get to the restaurants pages.

Enjoy!!!

Cool - thanks for the pics.

Any idea what's on the kids' menu?

I think that despite the fact that Cinderella won't be there - our DD will really enjoy the Castle :)

We went to the castle for lunch in June and had a nice time. The thing we liked about the kids menu is that the Chicken Strips came with mashed potatoes and corn. A nice alternative to the never ending french fries!

We went there last year, and we walked inside the castle just as she was being announced downstairs for photos. My friend sat with her and was able to take pictures, and then we went upstairs for dinner. She made a second appearance inside the restaurant (just walking though, but waving). I have a feeling they wouldn't release any sort of schedule for her appearances, but it would be neat for your daughter to catch that. My friend was 28 and she got a huge kick out of it. Even I thought it was cool how she sprinkled pixie dust in all the kids' palms.

Have fun!
