CRT -- dinner -- regular DP --- do you get an app?

Is CRT at dinner treated like a price fixed meal where you get an appetizer even on the regular dining plan??? The meal is a flat price for everyone regardless of what you order...and for some reason I thought it included the app at dinner --- but wanted to check.

Also -- is the tip still included?

Yes, app and gratuity are both included for CRT dinner on the DDP.

They changed it to dessert now instead of appetizer. (that's what I've read on here. This was my first trip so I don't know anything about how you used to get apps, but we were there 2 weeks ago and did indeed get dessert with all our meals.)

On the standard dining plan, you get an entree, dessert, and non-alcoholic drink at each TS venue. However, if there are prix fixe options (like at Les Chefs, Le Cellier lunch, etc.) you can get whatever is being offered. At CRT, it is essentially a prix fixe menu; you get to select one appetizer, one entree, and one dessert (and one non-alcoholic drink) for each person. Note that CRT requires two credits (because it is a Signature Restaurant) - and it includes tax and tip.

On the current menu the four appetizer choices are:
Mixed Greens Salad
Rock Shrimp Cocktail
A Royal Tasting of Cheese
Soup of the Day

They are listed under "Appetizers of the Court" on the menu, so yes, I would guess that your salad was your appetizer.
