Hi -- we have a CRT dinner booked for 7:35 pm our first night at WDW. I am going with the expectation of just getting to eat and be in the castle will be a major treat. The mixed reviews on the food concern me but I am not going expecting anything fantastic foodwise. Since this will be out first character interaction I am not concerned about only seeing Cindy in the lobby for pictures. We have a couple more character meals booked and the P&P party where I feel sure DD will get her fill of princesses.

So my questions:

1) With our 7:35 pm ressie, will and how will we be able to see Wishes at 8 pm? I thought I read somewhere they piped the music in and you could see the show on the walls of the inside but now I cannot find where I read that? I doubt we will get a window table as we have a large party of 9. What do you guys think?

2) DD is going to BBB at 4 pm in the castle. What should we do to fill the time between BBB and dinner? We will most likely bring her Cindy dress to put on after she gets done at BBB.

3) Photopass for pictures with Cindy? Do I just ask them to scan it before they start taking our pictures? I have read you can get additional copies from Photopass of the Cindy pictures. Any idea how much photopass pics are?

TIA to anyone you can offer me your advice and experiences!

DH and I went for dinner at 6:30 (if I reacll our ARD time correctly), and we made it out just in time to see SpectroMagic and Wishes. From where we were seated, we could see Cindy's Carousel. I do not think you would be able to see much of Wishes from that angle, but again, we were not there for Wishes.

After your DD's appointment, I would just tool around Fantasyland. From my experience, it was not too busy at this time. We were able to walk on several rides in August.

As far as the food goes, DH and I were very pleasantly surprised. We thought our dinners were excellent! We plan to go back on our trip this August.

Hope this helps! Have fun!

Thanks that does help, I am hoping to be pleasantly surprised by the food as well so I am going in with pretty much no expectation on that angle. We are definitely going for the experience of being in the castle and since it is our first night I am hoping DD won't care too much about not having much character interaction since she doesn't know any better yet! We are doing the princess breakfast in Norway for other princess exposure!

I just wasn't sure if we should even try to see Wishes or just wait until Friday were we can plan to be outside for it.
