CRT - Dinner Changes?

I just called WDW Dining Reservations and was trying to book CRT and she said that all of the characters are there at dinner. Is this true? Last time I was there, there were limited characters at dinner.

So, I didn't believe her and decided to call them back after I checked on the Dis

For some reason I always think Disney Reservations is trying to get the most money out of me that they can. I guess I'm just paranoid.

I completely understand. Unless I read it on the DIS, I don't believe it either
