CRT, dining plan and credit cards

OK ... We are booked and confirmed with the dining plan for next spring. Our ADR dates open Thursday.

This will be our first time (hopefully) eating at CRT. I know it's usually pay in advance. If I'm making an ADR with an account linked to a package reservation including the DDP, does the system just accept the dining credits?

I know they need the credit card number in case of cancelation, but I don't want to be charged for a meal we're using the dining plan on.

as long as you link it there won't be an issue. We did this a month ago and had no issues.

Just watch the screens very carefully. I've done this many times successfully before, yet last year I made an ADR I accidentally got charged for. I thought I knew what I was doing, and apparently didn't watch the screen closely enough. I found out from others later that the system was just acting wonky at the time as others were having the same problem.

Bottom line is that if you have any question, call in and they can be sure you are not charged, but only use the card to guarantee it.

I recommend making all non pay in full ressies online, but calling to make sure it is done appropriately for CRT. I've never gotten the DP credit/no charge thing to go through with CRT or dinner shows or anything like that.
