CRT - credit card charged but they can't find ADR UPDATE

I am on the phone with Disney Dining right now...on hold. I called for CRT at the 180-day mark (when they were still doing that), made my CRT ADR, got my confirmation number and my credit card has been charged.

I called today to ask about my credit card charge since I added the DDP to my reservation and they can't find my ADR. The agent has me on hold right now...has anyone else been having any problems?
 
The confirmation numbers have changed with the new system. Just give them your old confirmation number so they can pull it up. That's what I did. It worked out just fine.

ah ok. She has my confirmation number and is working with another agent to find it. Thanks!
 

just a follow up they gave me a new confirmation number. It was the same as my old one except the first 3 digits were different. I am not clear if I wrote it down wrong (it was 4am here in Tucson :)), if I was given the wrong number or if the first 3 digits changed under the new system. Just something to be aware of.
 
just an update on this. I called today to add a slipper dessert to my ADR and they could not find my ADR again. I had both numbers they had given me, she finally went and looked in the old system (?) but used zip code, name, phone number...and finally found it.

She also told me the ADR number I had was incorrect again...so now I have 3 ADR numbers. I am keeping all 3 and will bring them with me for our dinner. The numbers aren't that different...an extra number or zero here or there. If you made CRT ADR's at the 180-day mark before they switched over you may want to confirm your ADR's since they seem to have trouble finding them.

Disney has been in the process of making the transition to their new computer reservation system. I too made my CRT ADR at 180 days. The CM is right in that it is in the "old system". That's why the amount of digits on the confirmation numbers are different. Scary that they were having so much trouble with it!! Guess they are still working out a lot of the kinks. :sad2:

One question though. I was planning on doing the slipper dessert as well. Was the dining CM able to help you with that? On the cake thread here on the DIS, people have always posted that you need to call Disney's "cake hotline" number to arrange this. :confused3

some more info maybe this will help others. Here are the differences in the 3 ADR's I have been given the 3 times I called (once to make the ADR at the 180 day mark, once to add the DDP plan to my ADR about a week ago, and today to add the slipper dessert). I am "x"ing out the last few numbers since they have never changed and I don't want to post my ADR number:

390554xxxxxx, 540xxxxxx, 54xxxxxx

kind of the same but still different.
