Hi everyone

I'm reading conflicting stories on CRT. I'm under the impression that at all meals, boys get swords and girls get wands. I've been reading lately though that only boys and girls under 9 get the swords or wands. Can anyone clarify this for me? Booking to go with my friends family and her DD11 will be sorely disappointed if her DSis8 gets a wand and she doesn't.

I don't know what their specific procedure is but I can assure you that if anyone in your party of any age wanted a sword or a wand they'd be more than happy to give them one. They're just little inexpensive things--not that it doesn't make them enjoyable-- and I found the CM's to be very accomodating and helpful.

Enjoy CRT, its fun!

Your daughter will definitely get one :goodvibes
I worked there last Spring on the college program and would give to all children at the table (and parents too if they wanted :thumbsup2)
Have fun!

I was there in October with DD4. Our server gave both of us wands and wishing stars.

Only DD got one the prior year when my mother and friend were with us. I would be shocked if both children weren't given one. And if it happened, all you would need to do is ask. :thumbsup2

Have fun!

I had dinner at CRT in July with DNiece 11 and DNephs 13 and 14 - they were given the wand, swords and wishing stars.:thumbsup2
PS: despite the mixed reviews of CRT dinner and the price:scared1: - this was the best and favorite meal of the trip. Enjoy!

All kids (no matter their age) will get a wand or sword, as will any parents that want them. I was there in May for a girls weekend (no kids), and all of us adults got wands :goodvibes.

We had dinner there 3 weeks ago, it was just 4 adult ladies, and we got the wands without asking!

DH and I ate at CRT in July and we got wands and swords even though we were adults. I was happy to get a wand and feel like a princess princess: lol. I wouldn't worry at all. All of the kids should get them.

We were there last month and my son (who's 5) got the sword and they gave me (who's 28) a wand... I was happy to be able to bring it home for my 3 year old daughter :)

I agree, we love our dinners at CRT, we will be doing our third dinner there in January :goodvibes

As for the ages of kids....like others have already said, CMs will give them out to anyone, even if they don't give them out, you can ask for one and they should be able to give it to the child. The last few times that we have dined there, the waiter/waitress gave our girls each one and then myself and my DH one as well.

Thanks so much everyone! Feel MUCH better about booking here now. Can anyone make recommendations of lunch vs dinner here?

My DD15 got a wand without asking, and now I'm sad that I didn't ask for one, too. I had no idea they'd give me one!

Next trip we're doing breakfast at Akershus, so no wand for me. :P

my 17 yo brother received a sword and 16 yo cousin got a wand without asking. My bro was told it was to defend all the princesses at his table and my cousin would be the godmother of my daughters LOL No one asked for anything.
