CRT character lunch - menu changes

Just read this on allears. Looks like the menu for lunch at CRT will be different when the character meal starts:

"Cinderella's Royal Table Character Dine -- Beginning June 10th, a new Character Lunch will debut at the Magic Kingdom! All your favorite Princesses from breakfast will now be at the mid-day meal! The character lunch will feature family style salad and dessert and the choice of five adult entrees or children's meals along with a non-alcoholic, non-specialty beverage. Lunch will be $23.99 for adults (12 and older) and $12.99 for children 3-11. A deposit of $10 per adult and $5 per child will be required (as is currently the case with breakfast)."

Im glad Im going to regular lunch before that all starts. Thanks for the info. It's going to be so hard to ever eat in the castle now.

Thanks, jillybeanjo! I had just posted the heads up that I had gotten from SUe Ellen with DU last night on another CRT thread. This asnwered some questions for me. DD9 will turn 10 during our June trip and wants to try this. We have never tried for the breakfast so I was unsure what was involved with the booking. Does anyone know how they will apply your DDE discount to this?

Just got off with dining and this is what I was told.........
Cindy and Friends Lunch starting June 10th
Hours: 12 - 3pm
Adults 12+ -$23.99
Children 3-11 -$12.99

Family Style Salad
Assorted Meat and Cheese plate, with mozzerella and prosciutto

Choice of entree:
Crusted Salmon
Pork Tenderloin
Doma's Pie
Coachman's Sandwhich
Pasta Pomordoro

Family Dessert:
Blueberry Cobbler

What I am wondering is if this will make it easier now to book a character meal inside the castle or will the lunch be as big of a nightmare to do as the breakfast!
