CRT Cancellation/Refund Question

Yesterday I booked CRT for my September trip. After talking to my family we have decided that we don't really want to swap something else out for this-it's a been there done that for us. So the charge is pending on my bank account this morning. I canceled the ADR, should the charge automatically refund or should I be making a phone call to Disney to be sure? How long before the refund shows up?

It will automatically refund, but sometimes banks can take a little bit to put the money back into your account when it's debit card. I've noticed that whenever I return something I bought or anything like that, the credits always take longer to show up where the debits are pretty much instantanious. My best guess would be about a week. You shouldn't have to call though.

I did something similar with a different ADR...the charge showed up and the credit was given 2-3 days following cancellation

Glad I found this. I just cancelled a Wishes Dessert Party so I assume that will work the same way since it was also prepaid?

Yes, it will. I cancelled one in 2013, same thing happened. Credits came through a few days later.
