CRT, breakfast, lunch or dinner?

I am not sure what meal I want to do a CRT. The best deal for food seems to be dinner considering every meal is 2 dining credits. Also, I love the idea of seeing wishes in the castle. But I am not sure about the character interaction at dinner, it seems like there isn't any interaction at all. I would love some suggestion from those who have been there...

From what I understand the Princesses are there for Breakfast, lunch and dinner now. As for best deal...I would say that Dinner would be since it is 2 credits

Previously, there was little interaction at dinner and it was more of a show than a character meal. This is still a prevailing thought as the change april mentioned above (princesses going to all 3 meals) is recent.

Rest assured that (until they decide to change it again ) that the character interaction (and characters in general) will be similiar at all 3 meals now.

Yes, princesses there for all three meals now.

We really enjoy lunch there, and also have enjoyed dinner there in the past.
Breakfast we dont' do - there are so many other great character breakfasts that are buffets and much more food/variety, that we'd never eat at CRT for breakfast, just the other two meals.

What time should I make the reservation so I can see the fireworks?

I would check Disneyworld.com and see what time fireworks are slated for and book your dinner about an hour before that, or the very latest seating you can get. You can always linger over coffee and dessert. Have fun!

^^^ I wouldn't do the latest ressie at CRT as that would have the OP missing the fireworks altogether. OP figure on about 90 minutes before the fireworks begin that night. That should give you enough time to eat a leisurely meal then step out to watch fireworks.

Can you see the fireworks from the entire restaurant or do you have to get up from your table?

I am pretty sure you won't see much of the fireworks from inside the castle. You will need to be finished your meal and go outside to really see the fireworks.

The dinner is the best meal at the castle IMO.

We have only eaten breakfast there and thought it was fine, we were there more for the atmosphere and the princesses. When we go back in September we originally did not have this booked, but when FD came out and we upgraded to DxDDP, we thought why not, so we are now trying CRT for dinner before our MNSSHP and I couldn't be any more excited.....oh yeah, DH and I are keeping this dinner a surprise from the girls

I have done all 3 meals at CRT. I always preferred the dinner but even more so now that the Princesses will be there. I think the food at dinner is delicious and love dining in the castle as the sun goes down.
