I have booked CRT breakfast for our final morning of our trip. Now I'm starting to wonder if its really worth two table services or if I should book another character breakfast. Any suggestions?

If you have a little princess then you have to do it at least once. No the food isn't worth it at all but your not paying for the food your paying for the characters. My daughter wanted to go, so I did the getting up 180 days ahead and getting on the phone and booked the ADR. We went she got dressed up and we ate in the castle over looking Fantasyland. It was cool and neat and she loved seeing all the princesses but she said afterwards that she perferred CM:eek:   :headache: :headache: :headache: I said okay and have never been back since and have been to CM twice now. Much cheaper and easier to get into. But I have to say again you have to at least do it once for her. The food at CM is wayyyyy better and it is buffet so the kids can serve themselves. Good luck in which ever you choose.

I've heard CRT is waaay not worth it, and also that CM (Chef Mickey's) is one of the best character meals at WDW.

I also agree that if you have a little girl, CRT is definitely the place to go just once. I have 2 DDs who really wanted to go into the castle and eat there. So I got up in the middle of the night (we're in the west coast) and started dialling as soon as the lines were open. And I got one of those coveted ADRs. The food was good (not excellent but not bad either), the character interaction great, our DDs were extremely happy, and we got loads of pictures to look back on the experience.

Would we do it again? Probably not. Our DDs will be 9 and 12 when we go to WDW again and will not be into the princess thing. But I'm really glad that we got to do that with our little princesses.

It is worth doing once in your lifetime if that is what you desire. Is it really worth 2 TS credits? . . . NO!!! Should you do it if you never have but want to? . . . YES!!

The food is nothing to rave about, and, in my opinion, neither is the company, but it is an experience that should be tried once if you have someone in your household (including you) who really wants to try. I would never ever pay for this meal OOP, but with the dining plan, it is worth 1 extra TS credit to have done it once.

If it just you and a DD who want to go, why not split up for that morning only and save yourself some TS credits from the others who don't really have any interest? Just some thoughts . . .:goodvibes

We have done CRT 4 times ~ the last time being March Break ~ WE LOVE IT! I think it's definately worth it!

Our service last month was TOP NOTCH! Love the food! And the princesses are lovely!

DD13, DS7, DH & I would do it again! Blessings, S

I think if this is your first time at WDW, and you've got a little girl in your party do it!! !!! My kids loved it

NOthing at CRT is worth the extra credits but if it's a first time then I say for sure. We ate at the castle for dinner one night on our first trip and it was great for the experience for the kids but not for anything else. Food is mediocre at best. Fun is worth it but I wouldn't do it again that's for sure.
Just my 2 cents

i agree as a first time. We had it booked for dinner, then cancelled, and once we got to Disney during our week, we were able to rebook a dinner :cool1: and was pleasantly surprised. It was nice to have th pictures and we were there during wishes, so we could watch during dinner. It would be nice to do the bf or lunch where they can see more princess's. If you decide not to, you can do the princess at Norway, or see Cinderella at 1900 park fare, which was a nice experience. These are both 1 TS.

We are doing the castle this time because it is the first time at Disney for my dgrdd who is 8. As for CM we are only going to do it if we have extra credits left over. We did it last time and were not impressed at all. Mickey stopped at our table for about 2 seconds and that was it. We ate our dinner watched others get time with the characters and waited for our turn. Finally jsut as we were getting ready to leave Mickey came over for we could get a quick picture. What a bore.

I love CM too! The Goofy time at the entrance is awesome! All the characters were fun. The food was ok. DD13 said she doesn't need to do it again. We'll take the castle anytime. S

I may be going against the grain here but no I feel it is not worth the 2 credits. I have not eaten there but know many families who have and said the food quality was very poor and definitely not worth 2 credits. If they took the picture package out and dropped it to one then I would say do it if you have girls! We are spending 2 credits to eat at the California Grill with a fireworks seating and to us it was worth the credits. The food quality is much better and you get to see the fireworks too!

We actually tok the kids to the Princess breakfast at Norway in Dec and they loved it and the food was really really good. We have never used the dining plan but if we did there is no meal at Disney worth 2 dining credits as far as we are concerned. I guess that is why we do Chef Mickeys and one other meal in a week and ther rest of the time we cook in our villa.
