We made an 8:15 am breakfast ADR for the castle at the MK - what time will they allow us to enter the turnstiles?

Does anyone know if they have photopass photographers out that early?

Thank you!

30 minutes before the park opens - which means we could've taken a later bus, LOL!! There were PhotoPass photographers available and we had fun with one of them before we headed to CRT. ENJOY!!

thanks!! but the park opens at 9 on the day we are going, and our ADR is at 8:15. I would hope they let us in more than 30 mins before the park opens, or else we will be late for the ADR?

Not to worry, Disney will let you in. Not sure how they do it, I am sure you can go to Guest Services and they will tell you what to do. They would not have given you the reservation if you couldn't get in to eat.

There is a special entrance into the parks for those people who have ADRs before the park opens. I don't know about the photopass photographer, but I hope so because we'll be getting in early one morning for Crystal Palace :yay:

I can't tell you if this is still true, but when we were there, there was one turnstile open on the far right if you were looking at the entrance. There was a sign about breakfasts (I don't have the photo with me, but I can tell you what it said once I get home and get the camera out - all I remember is DDs ear to ear grin - she was SO excited). The let us in perhaps 15 or 20 minutes before our reservation, and although I have heard they check IDs and reservation numbers and such, at the time we went (nearly two years ago) nothing like that occurred. :confused3 They warned us that it would be checked, but it wasn't in actuality.

Go and enjoy! Those breakfasts in the park - we did CRT and CP - are among my favorite memories of our trip. :thumbsup2

remember you first go through the turnstile area where they check you in then you walk to the castle and still check in with the restaurant so they expect you to be there early. they'll be ready for you...enjoy and have a great time. love being in the park that early.

We always get an 8:00am ressie for CRT and Crystal Palace on days that the park opens at 9:00am. They let you right in. Sometimes a Photopass Photographers are out and sometimes not. But usually there is a CM around somewheres who is willing to snap your photo with your camera.

We also do Hollywood and Vine, Tusker House and Akershus before those parks open.

When you get to MK, after going thru security for bag check (if applicable), you will go to the far right and there will be two turnstiles marked character dining. Unless you get to MK extremely early, you will already see other people lined up at those turnstiles. Then you will go thru the turnstiles and directed into a roped off area and you will be let in to MK @ about 7:50 am. We have never seen photopass photographers that early in the morning, but that doesn't mean they are never out that early.

We had 8:20am ADR at CP last Monday and arrived at MK around 7:45am, all the people with early ADRs were lined up inside the turnstiles and then allowed in the park at 8am. There were several photopass photographers all the way up Main St and in front of the castle.

Thanks for this information....we are going in December, and have an ADR for 8:05 for CP...I was wondering how we would get it before the park opens.
