Hi! We will be in the world Sept. 2-8 and have made ressies for CRT for lunch ( would like breakfast not available, still trying though) and Story Book for dinner. Any suggestions should I keep both or let one go. I booked both because 1, I have a 6 yr. old daughter and I have never eaten at the castle and my daughters favorite princess is Little Mermaid and I understand she comes to dinner at SB dinner. Does anyone have experience with both or some suggestions I would be happy to hear them? I am just trying to declutter my week I am over one my dining plan dinners.:dance3:

We did the castle breakfast and a few days later the SB dinner last Christmas.
Both were good, the Princesses spent a little less time with us at the castle than the SB dinner, but overall both were great for us to do. If we had to pick;my daughter (6) would choose the castle, we'd choose dinner at SB, but my daughter loved the time with each princess at both. There you go clear as mud, I'd try a coin flip!

good luck

My family and I have done CRT and SB and we all agreed that CRT was better. The characters spent equal amount of time with us at both places but we thought the CRT meal was better. I hope this helped :goodvibes

We've done the castle 3 times and storybook once. The morning we did storybook, the characters were practically running from table to table- especially Jasmine who was dd's favorite at the time. But, we might have had a bad morning b/c I've read so many others who have had the opposite reports. Saying that, the food at storybook breakfast was not very good. DD was 5 at the time and wasn't nearly as thrilled with this breakfast as eating in the castle. She was happy to see the princesses- but she was absolutely giddy in the castle. If you've never done the castle- do it at least once. Nothing beats eating in the castle with the princesses if you have a princess-loving daughter. The experience of eating in the castle alone is awesome- dd kept wanting to go up and see Cinderella's bedroom-ha! Now, here is a different light on the subject. If your dd is 6 and you do both, you might want to consider spreading them out- having at least a few days in between. The girls playing the princesses are different and sometimes it is noticable. DD5 noticed the difference in the Belle's voices- I told her she must have talked so much her voice changed! But, just realize she could notice the difference. But, this is true if you see them in the parks too. Just the other day, DD (now 8) was looking at pictures on the computer and said that the picture of Belle did not look the same as the last time we saw her- I told her we had not seen her in 3 years and of course she's changed some-just like her! We are going to do the castle breakfast again this year- dd thinks this is a must!- and skip storybook for this reason. But, your dd is younger and it may not pose a problem- I just would not do them on back to back days.
BTW- Ariel is not guaranteed to be at SB dinners- usually is, but my luck would be that she would not be there! You can easily catch her in her grotto at MK every day.

We will be eating at both (CRT for breakfast, Norway for dinner) on my DD's b-day in less than 2 weeks.
We've never done either, so we're really looking forward to it!!

We just got back last week - we had the SB dinner on a Monday night and the CRT dinner on Wedensday.

The SB dinner was nice because all the princesses were there (even Cinderella), but our table was smooshed so close to the other table that the waitress could not reach a couple of patrons at the table behind us. It just seemed crowded and kind of chaotic - part of that has to do with the fact that it starts with a buffet, so people are constantly circulating the room to reach the buffet. BUT the princesses were EXCEEDINGLY friendly.

I preferred CRT - even though it was just Cinderella for dinner (and she wasn't nearly as friendly as the Epcot Cindy!), the atmosphere was so much more relaxed and the setting is so much nicer.

I was worried that two princess meals would be overkill, but the girls didn't seem to mind a bit. Of course, our dinner was only Cinderella, so we weren't seeing all the princesses again. That said, I will only schedule one princess meal next time.

We were fortunate enough to get CRT for breakfast last year. I have never been to lunch at CRT, but I would choose lunch at CRT over dinner at SB.

I told my girls we had to choose one princess meal for next year and they both (they are 3 and 5) are telling me that they want to eat at the castle and see Ariel "on fin" in her grotto.

Thanks for your replies. When you were at The Story book for dinner did you see Arial? How far in advance did you book your CRT for breakfast? At this point I have not had any luck. From the way it sounds I am lucky to have lunch right now. Thanks Again Chris princess:

Cindy was at CRT dinner?? I thought the Fairy Godmother and the mice only showed up for CRT dinner :confused3

Cinderella is downstairs for photos all day. But the Fairy Godmother and the mice are upstairs for the little 'show'. Cinderella never goes upstairs anymore.

We've also booked CRT for lunch and Princess Storybook breakfast. My dd5's favourite is also Ariel and I had hoped that we would see her at the breakfast but from what I have read she is not there. I think dd will be ok with that though as we will get to see her elsewhere.
