CRT & Akershus

There have been so many questions on CRT this week it seems, sorry for adding 1 more but I think this is a little different. . .

DD3 is into princesses and we plan on making several short trips next year so this trip will be based on her. She likes the princesses but she also like the FGM so I can't decide between lunch and dinner. My thought is to have dinner at CRT and then lunch in Akershus. Does that make any sense or should we just do both lunches?

In my opinion they are different enough to do both, if she really likes princesses (like my daughters) she will love it! We did both on our trip last October. We did have some repeats on princesses (saw some at both) but our daughters didn't seem to mind a bit!
To the second poster-- if I had to choose one based on cost I would probably choose Akershus, unless you really want the experience of being in the castle. You get pictures with a princess at both places and the character interaction is just as good at both! If anything, Akershus seemed less rushed.

If she likes the FGM, then I think dinner at the castle & lunch at Akershus will satisfy both her FGM and princess fix. Plus she still will be greeted by Cinderella & get to eat in the castle. Do they still do the wishing ceremony at dinner at CRT? Not sure if it matters to you. We are doing lunches at both CRT & Akershus since DD, also 3, loves princesses.

If you daughter loves the FG make sure you check with a Cast member because she can be found right by the castle and you can get your photo and autograph with her (We did dinner at CRT and the show was cute but we did not get character autographs, they can around and you could get photos but no autographs). You can see wishes at dinnertime from CRT, I was such a noob the year we went I didnt understand the big deal.


The great thing about lunch at Askerhaus is you do get a number of the lovely ladies and the oes you miss are usually right next door. We have done lunch 2x and have gotten, Cindy, Belle, Jasmine, Sleeping Beauty and Ariel. We then run over to Germany and there is Snow White and stroll down to China and there is Mulan and Mushu (my favorite). It just works out all so well
