I havent booked my trip yet, but I planning on book everything paying the whole thing with my taxes. We are planing on going april 26th thru may 2nd. Taxes im guessing the middle of februray. Im really hoping to get to take my two dd (8,4) to CRT one day. I dont care if its for lunch, breakfast or dinner. How impossible will it be to get an ADR (doesnt matter what time) for CRT if i dont end up booking anything until middle of feb for my trip dates.

You don't have to have a trip booked to make ADRs. You can make them 180 days in advance.

Anyone can book dining reservations 180 days in advance - those staying onsite, offsite, local residents. You don't have to have a vacation booked. However, CRT will require full payment at the time you book it.

We arrive in 17 days (yay!!!) and I just scored a CRT reservation today. However, I checked everyday, multiple times a day, in order to luck up on a cancellation. So it's not impossible, you may just have to put some effort into it. Good luck!!!

We also were able to get a cancellation, about 1 1/2 months out. We did change the park for the day in order to go.

Also, it's a little crazy, but you have to pay for CRT in advance. Then we booked the dining plan (pay in advance also) and they won't credit our account for CRT until the day we show up at CRT :/.

You can call the dining line to have your account credited rather than wait until you go to CRT. However, be very clear that you only want to modify the method of payment. Some CMs will want to cancel the reservation because that's the easiest way to credit back your card, but in the time between canceling and re-booking the reservation with your dining plan, someone else might come across the reservation and snap it up. In that case, you'll end up without a CRT reservation. If a CM wants to do this or says they can't change the payment method ask for a supervisor or hang up and call again. Or, just wait until you get to CRT and have your server take care of it. They're used to changing the payment form between the dining plan and OOP.

Thank you. I'm hoping I get that lucky. Ive been stalking to CRT reservations daily lol. As of right now they still have plenty of openings for that week im there. So im just hoping that since we dont care what day or waht time it might be a tad bit easier to snag a last minute ADR there. We are donig 5 days in the park with no park hopper. A day for each park and 2 for MK so im hoping the twos days at mk we can snag one.

Thank you. I'm hoping I get that lucky. Ive been stalking to CRT reservations daily lol. As of right now they still have plenty of openings for that week im there. So im just hoping that since we dont care what day or waht time it might be a tad bit easier to snag a last minute ADR there. We are donig 5 days in the park with no park hopper. A day for each park and 2 for MK so im hoping the twos days at mk we can snag one.

I would make it now and pay for it if you want it badly. You can get a refund if you end up not being able to go. I would rather do it now when there are openings, then regret it if you can't get one. Plus just adding the extra hassle of having to check daily if there are openings now.
