DD 6 wants to do all three on our upcoming 11 day trip. I'm leaning towards making her choose only two and drop one of them. I'm worried it will just be too darn many princesses, which DD thinks isn't possible, of course, LOL.

My question is, has anyone here done all three in one trip? If you have, did you feel it was princess overkill? Or did you enjoy them all?

We've done CRT and Akershus before, but not 1900 PF. Along with us on the trip will be my mom, who doesn't go into the parks, so she'd only be at 1900 PF with us and not the other two, and my DS 14 who doesn't care one way or the other.

DD wants CRT because it's in the castle, 1900 PF for the stepsisters, and Akershus because she's hoping to see Ariel with legs again. Not sure if I should be indulgent because she'll grow up all too fast, or if I should veto one. We'll be on the DDP and can spare the credits for all three by paying OOP for Cape May Cafe breakfast on our last day if we need to.

I'm doing all 3 on our next trip when DD will be 3. At first I thought it was overdoing it but then I thought...she's a little girl who loves princesses. To her it won't be overdoing it!!!

I also want to eat in the castle, see the stepsisters and try to see Ariel with legs so perfect for us.

They are only little once and it's WDW. Go for it!!!!!!!!!!!! :goodvibes

I agree with the other poster - go for it! I've othen asked myself the same question because we are going to WDW for 13 days and have planned to do CRT, Akershus, Alice in Wonderland Tea and 1900 Park Fare.

Seems like a lot of character meals but my DD5 is princess crazy and she won't be in this stage forever so we are going to do all 4. Plus we've never been to WDW. We're going to start the trip with dinner at 1900, then the Alice tea, Akershus breakfast (maybe w/o DH) and lunch at CRT. So all the meals will be a tad different in place, some characters, menu and she'll get to wear her princess dresses.

Good luck with your decision.

Last trip we did Akershus dinner, Crt dinner, Crt breakfast, 1900 PF dinner and 1900 PF breakfast (twice). Admittedly we were there for 20 days. We enjoyed all - Akershus dinner was fabulous for entertainment, food was ok but nothing outstanding; CRT dinner average entertainment, good food, beautiful setting; CRT breakfast characters fantastic, food good; 1900 PF breakfast food disappointing, character's awful (except Pooh and Tigger and you'd be better off going to CP for them); 1900pf dinner character's THE BEST AT WDW IMHO but food THE WORST IN THE ENTIRE WORLD OF HOLIDAYS TO DATE!!!!

If you have never been to the restaurants go ahead and try them all. We are going back to CRT for both dinner and breakfast in February and we are going to try Akershus for breakfast next time. Won't ever go back to 1900 PF which is a shame because the characters were so wonderful at dinner.

Have a fabulous trip.

We are also doing CRT, 1900 Park Fare (dinner and b-fast), Princess Storybook, and my oldest is doing the Alice in Wonderland Tea Party this upcoming 16 day trip. I've also worried whether this is princess overkill but I think each one is different enough that we'll be fine! Keep them and enjoy!

I say go for it LOL!! Of course I'm the solo adult going in January who is have the Akershus dinner, Chef Mickey's, 1900 PF, and Crystal Palace..so I might be bias LOL!

We're doing all three for our trip in March - breakfast at CRT, lunch as Akershus, and dinner at 1900 PF basically because DD4 is really into princesses and this is her first trip. If your daughter loves the princesses, then go for it! Have a great trip!

We have not done all three but we did do Akershus for lunch and then 1900 Park Fare for dinner on the same day that Skye went to BBB in the morning. It was a princessy sort of day. My 9 year old son did not mind a bit either I might add. But all the meals are different, all the restaurants are different and the characters could all be different (at least some of them) unless you are talking CRT for dinner, 1900 for Dinner, and Akershus for any meal because then they would all be different usually.

I say go for it!

I say do it! I think you should do CRT for breakfast or lunch (since there are multiple princesses), 1900 PF dinner, and Akershus breakfast. Have fun!!

We would be doing CRT for breakfast prior to park opening on the 2nd day of our trip, Akershus for lunch after DD's Albatross Treasure Cruise about 3/4 through the trip, and 1900 PF for dinner on our last night prior to seeing Wishes at MK.

Thanks for the opinions. I can always count on everyone here for help. :goodvibes

We're doing all three on our next trip. My dd7 couldn't decide which one her 6 year old cousin would enjoy the most and said we should do all 3.
Have fun!!!

What is the advantage for doing 1900PF for dinner rather than breakfast? Just curious as I've never been to this restaurant.

Breakfast is the Mad Hatter, Alice, Pooh and Tigger I believe.

Dinner is Cinderella, the prince, stepmother and the stepsisters.

I hear both are great and the character interaction is wonderful. We are doing dinner since DD loves Cinderella! She doesn't know who Alice is yet.

Right.

DD is doing the Tea Party with Alice and the Mad Hatter, and we always eat at Crystal Palace so she'll see Pooh and Tigger there. She wanted to do 1900 PF for dinner for the stepsisters and to a lesser extent the stepmother. She'll see Cinderella at CRT so if we keep 1900 PF she'll be a repeat. CRT is at the beginning of the trip though and 1900 PF the end so I don't think that will be a problem, seeing her twice. It's Akershus I was leaning towards getting rid of, but it's the only place to see Ariel with legs vs. a tail. I think we'll just keep all three. :goodvibes

We are going in January and I have also booked all 3. My DD- 3 will go crazy. We were on a Cinderella kick, but now we are on an Ariel kick. I hope that Ariel is there at Akershus (the reservation people couldn't guarantee anything)

From all reports I've read Ariel is a regular at lunch and dinner though, and she's usually there. We had lunch there last year and Ariel was there along with Belle as the greeter in her yellow gown, Alice, Jasmine, and Aurora I think. Ariel would be the one DD is hoping to see again this time, so I sure hope we get her, she's the reason we made the reservation, LOL. I did enjoy my meal though, and our server was excellent. I had the Kjottkaker or whatever it's called. DD had the kids pizza and liked it. The desserts were yummy but they've changed since we were there.

I love 1900 PF. CRT is okay (food wise, at least. dining in the castle makes it worth it).

Akershus, well, I'm not a fan. If you want to do a third character meal I would pick a different one than that, but that's just my opinion. I definately don't think those 3 are too many for an 11 day trip, no way.

Edited to add - I just saw the part about Ariel. In that case you probably want Akershus. I'm just not a fan of the food or the service there.

Also, don't miss Ariel in Ariel's grotto in MK!
