Crowne Plaza Resort Garden Grove

Anyone ever stay here??/ I know that it is not walking distance to the parks, but I will have a car. We are traveling Dec.27-Dec.30th which is a BUSY time. How hard is it to find parking at the parks?? Wondering what the rooms and service is like here also.

Not sure if it's the same one, but we stayed at a Crowne Plaza very near DL several years ago. It was a very nice hotel with a huge atrium in the center with a "brook" running thru it. I don't remember much about the rooms but the lobby/atrium area was very nice. They served complimentary drinks and snacks in the afternoon. They also ran a shuttle from the hotel to DL. I mainly remember that I liked it because it was so calm and soothing after a day at the park.

We stayed there courtesy of Priceline August 15-17 of this year. It was a wonderful hotel. The pool was large, there was a restaurant, room service, the staff was wonderful, and the rooms were good-sized. The beds were only a full, but were comfy. I never travel without my pillow, but somehow forgot it on this trip, (feather/down) and I can't believe I slept like a baby with the pillows there. (I wonder if all the walking around the parks had anything to do with it? ;o) ) I just checked my pictures, I don't have any of the room, but the lobby was beautiful. The hotel has a spanish flair to it, and the weekend we were there, there was a wedding and reception in their conference rooms. Very nice. There is a small gift/snack shop in the lobby. The shuttle was a large bus which serviced a couple of other hotels, as well. It was comfy and ran on time.
