I know I went over the holiday, which means no matter where I would have stayed service would have been sub par, and I know it was busy, but, after arriving with two kids and a wife in tow, for a guaranteed two bed non smoking room, and have the guy at the front desk tell me they changed my reservation to a king, because they thought it would be ok with me, pissed me off. Then to tell me that the rate I was paying was better than most of the others in the hotel, and that I should be glad I had a room for that rate (came off their website. Am I supposed to ask for a higher rate?), then, after they promised to move me the next day (after kids slept in a rollaway) to have them give me keys to a room that had people in it....that was neat, and then for them to have to try to find a room, which they did, and for asking to speak with the head manager, and not receiving a call from her for about 48 hours...........Oh, and them blocking off the entrance to the hotel because the valet's had used the circle (not just the under the roof area, but the entire entrance circle, to park cars (during the rain, of course, so we could not drop off dw and ds and ds without getting wet one night, yada yada yada, so, for those of you who have done a search on this hotel, this is my negative review.

Boy am I glad I never looked too much into staying here after readingyour post!! It looks like a really nice hotel. Had Virgin Holidays had it up for selection then we would have probably stayed there. Although saying that, the majority of the reviews I've read aren't that great so maybe we wouln't.

Shame they offer such a lousy service... the hotel looks beautiful.
