Has anyone had the pleasure of staying at this resort?
Anybody know anything about it?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

We stayed the the Crowne Plaza, 12000 International Drive, 3 times in the last 5 years. We have spent from 1 night to 3 nights before moving to our resort at WDW. This Crowne Plaza is a great resort, more like a resort than a hotel. The location is on the quiet end of International Drive and about 15 minutes from WDW parks. The rooms are large and have kind of a Hawaiian tone to the decor, nice kitchen area, small living room and a king bed in some units. Other rooms have just two queen beds and a small refrigerator area, no kitchen. We had a nice balcony too, most rooms do. The rooms at this hotel were very nice and clean on all our visits. The rooms also have an outer security door with a small foyer and a light which I really liked, no one could come near your room without a key to the outer security door. This Crowne Plaza has become a timeshare over the past couple years. The pool is nice but nothing special for little ones (like a slide) from what I remember. If you have any other questions I can help with, just ask :D

It sounds relaxing, which I really could use right now!

I'm glad it is a clean place, 'cause that was also a concern! I have not seen any mention of this resort before, so was kinda iffy!

And of course it's a hop, skip and a jump from the Premiere Outlet Mall!

Thanks again.

It is also near the Pointe Orlando which is across the street, which has disney's worldport, great store for those WDW souveniers!!

DD and I really enjoyed our stay there. Also liked that security door. Our room faced the pool area which DD really liked. No slides but they did provide noodles.

I liked that it was off the beaten track but still very close to everything, especially the shopping!LOL Can't wait for the credit card bill!LOL

Thanks again.

So glad it worked out for you! Aren't the rooms nice? We also like the location. Like I said before, we usually spend a night or two at this Crowne Plaza each trip to Orlando. This trip next week, we will be spending a night at a Marriott in LBV (using points) before heading to YC. But the Crowne Plaza is one of our favorites along International Drive.

Has anyone had any good or bad experiences with the Park Inn Suites Maingate (6075 W Irlo Bronson Hwy)?

I have reservations for the beginning of May, but don't know much about the place.

Thanks,
Monica

I believe it used to be the Larson Family Inn.

We stayed there three years ago and we liked it. We only had a room that had a small frigde and micro but that was perfect! It has a Shoney's on site where we ate every morning before heading out. They now offer a breakfast but it looks like it's just muffins, cereal, juice, etc.

We were just there, last Friday for the Shoney's breaky. Can't get enough of their Biscuits and Gravy!LOL

The pool is rather small but enough to cool off with and play for a little bit. Problem solved though, 'cause WaterMania is right next door! I don't know if they redid the interiors or not but it was clean and the staff was nice.

I found that it was convenient to WDW and other attractions and shopping!

If you would like more info, just ask.
