Crowne LAX or LaQuinta hotel in LA?

Crowne LAX or LaQuinta?


I have reservations for both the night before we fly home. I booked Crowne Plaza, 5985 Century Blvd some time ago, when the reviews were pretty good on trip advisor. Now...well, not so good, and the musty smell and bedbugs scared me. Now I also have reservations at LaQuinta, 5249 West Century Blvd.

They both have free shuttles to and from the airport. LaQuinta has free wifi, you have to pay for the Crowne's. LaQuinta has free continental breakfast. Prices before taxes (I didn't do a third party, because I wanted the ability to cancel) Crowne: $99.50. LaQuinta: $80.10.

Anyone been at both, or live in the area? Supposedly LQ has recently been refurbished and it sounds like the Crowne should have been.

I was wondering the same thing. I booked a marriot but if the LaQuinta is cheaper and nice I wouldn't mind changing it.
