Has anyone ever used "Crowncurrency.com?

they seem to have pretty good rates for the $...

:thumbsup2

Thanks, thats really helpful :)
we did manage to get a good deal on some $'s through First Choice who sometimes do a "midday madness" on a saturday and offer higher than norm so i am also going to keep my eyes peeled for that. :goodvibes

ive used crown, we havn't had our money delivered yet but so far they have been very good

hth :)

I've not used them, there's something a about handing over my money to someone else and not seeing anything for a few months that makes me nervous :(

I would be interested to here from people who have used them though as some good reports might lead me to reconsider :)

We've used them four times - great service, no complaints at all

We bought our dollars for August back in April at $2/£1 and were very happy with that.

I agree with Alan that it does feel risky giving them your money so far out but we have not had any problems on the occasions we have used them - and they consistently come out ahead on the comparetravelmoney website.

We've used them once. They were very professional and helpful. I do agree, though, that it is a bit of a risk.

I know exactly what you mean, There is something not right about handing money over and getting nothing back - thats why I asked you guys for your past expereinces with them .. i will give it some thought...:)

I've just used them for the first time today - got a rate of 1.9938 to the £ for delivery in 31-40 days - you get to specify which date you want delivery as you need to sign for them.

They seem very professional and it looks like our names may be printed on the TC's as they asked the names of the signatories.

I pre-ordered some $ with them at a rate of $2.02/£1.00. It seemed to good an opportunity to miss although I was a little wary that I wouldn't see any cash for a few months. I had to select a date for delivery as it needed to be signed for and received prompt e-mail confirmation etc. My $ are due next month so I hope there's no problem!

I used them last December and got a very good rate.

The further in advance you order the currency the better the rate you will be given. However, you have to weigh the currency rate quoted against any interest you will loose on your savings over the same period of time.

I had no probelms in dealing with them at all - they were happy to give me the dollar note and TC demoninations I required. I altered the delivered date twice and they were happy with that.

The currency arrived exactly as requested on the date requested.

I would use them again without hesitation, if the rates they offered were better than the interest rate I could gain.

Glad to see all these good reviews up here. We got a rate of $2/£1 a few weeks ago and put all our spending money for October down with them.
