Going on 26th so I need it delivered week before (thats week monday).

Whats the latest I can order off Crown currency? For instance, if I wait until monday will it be too late to order for that week (beginning 20th)

If you look on their website the earliest date they are currently offering for delivery is 20/9 so you would need to order now really to make sure you get it in time

If you mention these on The Dibb god help you!!

I've been banned because I mentioned them and pointed out that the Dibb pushes FairFX so much it's unfair to the other forum members. FairFX sponsors them and they've sold themselves out to them I think.

LOL. Thats a bit weird !!!

I take it Crown are reputable? I see you've got to pay via bank transfer rather than debit card.

A lot of people (me included) have used them and are very happy with their service. I am currently waiting for a delivery on 23rd September which I got at a special rate and have used them twice in the past - the money has always arrived on the day it is supposed to.

That being said if anything happened to the company you have paid in advance and there is no guarantee of getting your money back. For that reason I tend to order with the minimum time window allowed to minimise the amount of time they have my cash and I have nothing to show for it. The special offer I was e-mailed was for 1 month in advance and that is the longest period I have gone for (I usually go for order today and earliest delivery date is 20th Sept so I'll have that date).

As said above people use them no problem, so yes reputable but what has happened in the past is not always whats going to happen in the future(ask Woolworths & 100's more)
You are sending money to an unregulated company, they get into financial difficulties and the chances are you lose your money, theres no bank guarentees, no ABTA, no credit card protection you would probably lose the lot.
To me and many others (incl DIBB) its not worth the risk of dealing with them for the sake of a few cents better rate than elsewhere, OK some have done very well out of them, getting $2+ when the rate collapsed to $1.35, others have lost when the rate increased but on the whole rates don't vary much so using them only gains a few $'s.
To others the risk is worth it, on here we still allow you all to make your own choice, other sites don't. If you know the risk and happy with it then its your choice.
If you use the search facility there are numerous threads about them.

Look into the Visa Debit card via Tesco. You pre load it and then either use as a debit card or withdraw from cash points. Had not really thought about this myself until this August, Tesco did a very good exchange rate and did not make a charge for cash withdrawals unlike other companys

Paul as wayne says as long as you know what the potential factors are then its up to you. I ordered £1200 in may off CC at 1.58 and recieved it on the exact day I requested.Still have £1500 to change as have to pay for universal hotel and DDP at AKL and some more spends but dont want to risk delivery with crown on the 20th as we leave on 22nd. Going to go with Ice as Burt recommended as only 2 cts less than crown and guarentee delivery next day. Was hoping for $1.54 but whatever it is on weds/ thursday will have to suffice:lmao:
