Is there a least crowded day calendar for Universal/IOA? How is the crowd 2nd week in June? Should I go on a Weds the 11th or Sat the 14th? I know the weekends are more packed, but how big of a difference is it? Thanks for the help.

I'm also going the 2nd week of June, and expecting it to be pretty crowded. I'll be getting to the parks as early as possible.

While I don't think there's a crowd calendar available, the "wisdom" I've heard is this:

If it's crowded at Disney, it will be crowded at US - but a little less so.

People tend to go to Disney early in the week and then head over to US/IOA, Sea World, etc.

So:

Wednesday should be less crowded than Saturday. Also, if you're planning to go to Disney, too, Saturday is generally one of the best days of the week over there.

We went in june last year the 4th - 11th and weekdays was managable but the weekends where very busy and you have to concider the fact everyone is starting thier vacation starting in june so it will be packed anyway you go.

I went the 2nd week of June in 2006 and the crowds were very manageable. We were able to do both parks in 1 day and not miss a thing. I would go on Wednesday. Weekends usually attract locals also.

I've lived here and had an AP since 2004 and I have noticed the crowds are getting bigger each summer. Locals obviously go on the weekends since we don't have to work but in the summer when the parks stay open until 10pm, I'm over there alot during the week. Last summer was pretty busy and I expect the crowds to be a little larger this year. Next year will spell the end of low crowds at Universal with the addition of the RRR coaster and then HP in 2010.

For Islands of Adventure, we think it's something like the following (we may need to go count more people):
