Crowds????

Super crowded! Best advice, go check our sponsor for how to deal with it, Tourguidemike, good stuff!

I agree with previous poster-Tourguide Mike has great advice. Just wanted you to know that we (DH, DD-19, DS 13) go just about every year at Easter. We get to the parks about 30 min. prior to opening so we are first through the gates (not necessarily the EMH park)--do all the big rides--have an early lunch--do a few more of the smaller attractions and head back to the hotel for a swim/dinner break around 2:30 or 3pm. This strategy worked especially well when the kids were small and needed naps-still works for teenage case of the crankies! We relax for awhile and then head back to the park around 6:30pm or 7pm (just as many weary park goers with small children are leaving.) This is often the best time to do those big rides again. The parks are open later and we stay for the parade and fireworks and take our time walking out.

We have also gone to WDW during Halloween about 8 years ago and it wasn't real busy. We have just as much fun at Easter. I think if you go with a positive attitude and the mindset that it is going to be crowded, you will have a great time. Talk to the people around you in line--make a new friend, take snacks to eat in line, take a break from the lines and enjoy a ride on the train or sit on a bench and people watch. For me...I'm just happy enjoying warmer weather and time with my family.

Enjoy your trip!:cool1:

Very crowded......we went about 8 years ago and vowed never again. The Mon-Thurs preceding Easter weren't too bad. But Fri/Sat/Sun (Easter)/Mon (we left this day) were horrendous ! It was 85 degrees on Saturday and due to hit 90 and we couldn't even walk in the MK (we had to leave at 11:30 am !). Epcot was a bit better (not shoulder to shoulder). Get to the parks early, because they can deny admittance to non wdw resort guests if capacity is nearing.

We will be there two weeks after easter. I have never been to WDW during the busy season. Will it still be bad then?

Miasrn62- I have talked to you before about the Vistana resort. Is it hard to find chairs and towels at the pool during this busy season? Do the resorts feel slammed as well?
