Was the week before halloween crowded last year in general?

YES...the weekend before especially as this was when WILMA hit FL. She hit the Monday a week before Halloween--so tons of SW FL residents evacuated to WDW and afterwards (us included) headed up to take refuge with our absence of electricity and running water. It was very crowded the weekend before Halloween but as South FL's electricity began to power back on many people went home. Mon. & Tue. definitely were much quieter and we did enjoy a Halloween party at the BW hotel.

Normally October is fairly busy until the end of the month. We have been to WDW twice in the past few years around this time and it's not bad, but if there's a hurricane threatening FL that could change in the matter of hours.

So you think the week ok Oct 21 wouldn't be too bad? I think I'm passing on Sept cause that's peak hurricane season.
