4 days to go and we will be there, how is it this week. I keep checking the weather web sites and they can't make up their minds what it will be like next week....I need to pack.
How are the crowds?

We'll be at Disneyland this week as well, and I would love to know about the crowd levels. Anyone know what we can expect??

Thanks in advance!:yay:

I might go today (and if not today, then definitely tomorrow). I'll report back on the crowds.

Weather wise, it's cold (for southern CA!). It's about 50 degrees right now, forecast high for today will be 58.

When the sun is out, it feels warmer than it is, but as soon as the sun sets or some clouds roll in, it gets chilly.

Pack for cool weather during the day, but COLD weather once the sun sets (around 5pm). As a rule of thumb, plan for short sleeves during the day with a light sweater or jacket on hand. Rather than paying attention to the HIGH of the day, look at the LOW. That will give you an idea of how much covering you will need for the mornings/evenings.

Pack pants, short sleeves, long sleeves, sweatshirts (and jackets if you will be out/about in the parks at night).

You can't go wrong with layers. Unfortunately, this time of year, you have to bring along pretty much your entire wardrobe. ;)

Hi everyone! I just got back from a mini trip to DLR and had a wonderful time! Although I missed my kids ( went with two friends for a grown up trip) in my opinion, the dates I went to the park were the best dates I could have picked.

I was at Disneyland on Thurs, Dec 6 and Fri Dec 7th. The weather forecast called for rain all day Friday but it did not rain at all. On Thursday there was barely anyone at the park and the longest we waited for any ride was about 15 minutes. There were a lot of young children at the park on Thursday so I assume Toontown and Fantasyland were still busy, but all of the attractions with a minimum height requirement had barely anyone waiting for them.

On Friday the parks were much busier but the lines were still at a minimum. It was supposed to rain, but never did. We actually ended up getting dreamed with dream fastpasses which helped with the waits Friday night (they were getting much longer by then) California Adventure seemed to be empty both days I was there.

It really was a wonderful trip, I only wish my kids would have been there for the "empty parks" . I am taking them for Spring Break in March (yikes! ) and after that trip have decided to only go back the week after Thanksgiving or the first week of December.

If the forecast calls for rain dont worry too much about it! The weather is truly unpredictable and it is highly unlikely that it would rain all day long. Pack some ponchos just in case and dont forget to use them on Splash Mountain so you can stay toasty all day long!

We are here right now. Its COLD and a little crowded. Today was a tad warmer than yesterday, but still pretty cold. Night times are very cold.

Crowds seem thick at Disneyland but the lines for the rides have not been too horrible. Nemo has lines of about 75 minutes but thats really the only lines over 30 minutes. Matterhorn was 40 minutes about noon but then got a little shorter.

California Adventure has been great, lines pretty short, except for Soarin. That line was about 45 minutes most of the day. We did fast pass and that helped a lot. Tower of Terror was maybe 10 minutes both times we rode it. Screamin was maybe 10 minutes. Maliboomer was also about 10 minutes.

Have not seen the Dream Team at all, which is kind of sad. I really didnt expect to be dreamed but I would have liked to have seen the Team.

We have encountered great Cast members the whole time. Jungle Cruise skipper was fanastic! Actually even great guests as a whole. No rude people yet.

We are staying until Tuesday. If you have any questions ask!

We got dreamed in the Brother Bear play area in California Adventure. They were at the top of the play structure "hiding".....

Good Luck!

Our flight for DL takes off in about 18 hours!!!:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:     I need to finish some laundry and little packing other then that I am READY to go!! We are staying at the HOJO. The weather doesnt seem too bad warmer then the weather here in Oregon so it will be ok. Just no rain and the trip will be GREAT!

Weather Update:

Gorgeous today! Not cold at all. Cooler now that the sun is down, but today was perfect. I think it was about 70. No sweatshirts needed. Sunny. Perfect.

A little crowded again but mostly the stroller & wheelchair crowd. Lines were not long at all for rides. Fantasyland was packed and Main St was crowded but other areas not so much. California Adventure was empty. Great day for us. Still have not seen the Dream Team.

Have over 80 pictures on our Photopass so far. They have a special where if you buy the cd with all your pictures on it its only $60. 1/2 price of the online price. We're doing to do that!

Santa at California Adventure is REALLY GREAT, btw :)
